He conspired to out a covert CIA agent.

And, in case you were watching the news, Rove was cleared by a special investigation.
Was he cleared? Or did Fitgerald just not prosecute him because Libby's lies helped to obstruct the entire case?

The guy that actually outted Plame--not that she was a covert agent to begin with--was Richard Armitage; who was never once questioned by investigators.
It is an established fact that Mrs. Wilson was covert. Please try to keep up.

Many people outed Mrs. Wilson. If you believe the right wing's lies that if one person leaks classified info that that de-classifies that info - you would be as wrong as those rightees who spread this lie.

As to the OP, I guess we can see how the Libs feel when one of their own does something whacky. This makes the threats against Pelosi look like playground ****.
Karl Rove committed treason. He should be in jail. And by the way, these charges against Rove and Cheeney and Bush could always be lodged any day in the future. Any day...

And, the proof of that is where?

I'm sure that if Fitzy would have had anything on anyone, he would prosecuted them. Except Richard Armitage, that is; the guy who actually revealed Plame's membership with CIA.

Covert agents, with non-official covers do not work at CIA headquarters and they do not marry American Ambassadors. Please try to use some common sense. Valerie Plame possessed a non-official status at one time, but she wasn't working in a non-official status at the time of Knovak's article.

Armitage is the one that revealed her identity as an employee at CIA. Why aren't you totally beside yourself with outrage that he was never once questioned during the investigation?

LOL...ok, here we go again: What did he do that could be considered treason? Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that he did in fact out Plame and she was working non-officially. It's still not treason.

Are you just as ready to jail those ACLU cats that photgraphed CIA NOCs--actual NOCs--and smuggled them into Gitmo to reveal their identities to the prisoners? Or, is that different?

    In the testimony.

You're "sure", ehh Well then, case closed, ehh?

Jesus Christ, where DO you get your info? Is there a law that CIA agents can't marry ambassadors? I don't see any reason to use common sense with you. Obviously, you don't know what it is. Valerie Wilson was covert at the time of her outing by the Bush thugs. This is confirmed by the judge in the case, the CIA director and the law defining covert status itself. But then, don't let the facts get in the way of your common sense.

Serious damage was done to many other CIA agents and their contacts because of the actions by that criminal administration, specifically Rove and Libby. There is some evidence at least one person has been murdered due to Valerie Wilson's identity being exposed. But, I'm sure you and all the other rightees will pooh pooh this. What does your "common sense" tell you about THAT?

She was working "officially" as a covert CIA spy. What part of that doesn't your common sense understand?

Are you just as ready to jail those ACLU cats that photgraphed CIA NOCs--actual NOCs--and smuggled them into Gitmo to reveal their identities to the prisoners? Or, is that different?
Granted this doesn't look good. But, do you know anything about why that lawyer did that? I didn't think so. Those prisoners were being kept without being told why they were there, what the charges were and who was making those charges. Since the corrupt officials, under Bush and Cheeney's direction, wouldn't give any of that info to those prisoners their attorneys did. And from those actions a federal judge declared they were due minimal rights.

Did I say there was? However, marrying a high profile dignitary like that would greatly jeoperdize a NOC's ability to remain covert.

Covert agents don't work at CIA headquarters. In fact, it's the last place they would ever go. Must I explain why?

OMG!!! You have got to post that. I can't wait to see it...

Do you know what, "non-official cover", even means?

So, it's ok to out covert agents, sometimes? You Liberals beat all I ever seen...

How does that make them a true communist and enemy of America? Oh that is right whenever some one disagrees that means they are simply a communist.

Yeah it's a partisan source, but Code Pink has done public protests where they called for the death of American soldiers, so I consider them a hate group. I don't care if it's Karl Rove, I'm glad that this idiot bitch got arrested. Not only is she a hatemonger, but she gives a bad name to those who oppose Bush's war in Iraq. Hope she learns her lesson.

Just one thought on this. In these modern and confusing times, it is difficult to tell which one the traitor actually is.

Last time we heard accusations about Code Pink on this thread, they turned out to be not exactly as represented. So I'd like to hear a report on this (from an objective source please). I don't give a damn about Code Pink one way or the other, but I'd like to make sure we are all working with the right facts.

Actually they did. the fact you want to continue to lie is your business, but please at least put some effort into it.
