55% Favor Repeal of Health Care Bill

you consider 55% of the American people "scum"?

If they consider business more important than citizens... they're just brainwashed or too stupid to know better. Only the ones who know better but still push corporatism are scum.

We should not even be in the UN my left wing friend...........
*BUZZZZ* I'm sorry contestant, but you can't use UN the breaking of resolutions as a reason for war AND claim the UN is a useless body that we should ignore or get out of. It makes you a hypocrite. :2wave:

agreed! given that nations that benefit from free riding on our largess also have the ability to vote down proposed reforms to the UN, how do you propose we go getting them in line?

Cut the funds we give them. That[s how the vietnam war was stopped.:)

:lamo you have no idea how funny it is that you say that, and i'm torn on whether or not to tell you, or just keep on watching

The better question is how many of those people in the poll actually understand the real facts of the bill?

As we've seen, Navy couldn't point out the difference between the Healthcare bill and a milk cow. A poll asking people about something they don't understand as to whether it should be repealed or not is kind of like asking the average person if thermal depolymerization should be make illegal. :2wave:

Obama Socialist Health Care is Garbage........Never in the history of this country have we been forced to buy something and if we didn't be fined for not doing so..............

Fail: Car Insurance.

Btw, are you saying that Mitt Romney is a liberal? After all, the Health Care Bill, which is not socialist unlike the Bush Drug Bill which you supported on WS, is very similar.

You know, actual conservatives wouldn't be against this under the notion of personal responsibility. People should not be forced to subsidize others. But that's what's happening. So you are in effect arguing AGAINST personal responsibility.

I don't like having my health care premiums garnished to pay for the uninsured who refuse to get their own insurance. Those people should be forced to pay for their own costs.

And you didn't address my post either.

So, you're saying that democracy should be done away with then?

Romney is a RINO...He will be whatever you want him to be to get elected......

Real Conservatives are against anything you can't pay for.........

So we have, what, half a dozen real conservatives in office?

So, you're saying that democracy should be done away with then?

No, merely that a poll of ignorant voters should be looked at in the correct view.

Fail: nobody is forced to buy a car.

While that is correct, we are forced to cover the costs of medical care. You partake in driving, you are forced to buy insurance. You partake in society, you are forced to buy health care insurance.

The alternative is to continue taking premiums and taxes to pay for the uninsured and absolve them of responsibility.

I can't support such a free riding "solution."

You don't have to have car insurance if you don't own a car..........Try again.....

Like....

You know, for a Bush backer, you seem to not realize what you are against now is what you were for back then.

Hey Chief, did you tell me a short while back that military retiree's had "Tricare?" Did that take the place of Champus? Is Tricare available to the public on the open market?

How does it work these days? Can you pick your own insurance provider and doctors, and whatnot, and the government participates in all or part of the tab?

Or is Tricare a government (read:socialist) ran insurance? What's Tricare all about? What are the insurance options of a retiree?

If I'm being too nosey, I apologize.

Already addressed to Dav.

I still see you won't answer my questions.

Not surprising. This is why I think you're a teenager. I don't like having my taxes and my premiums being used to pay for free loaders. Perhaps when you get a job....

What if you don't drive?

No, merely that a poll of ignorant voters should be looked at in the correct view.

But if as you admit, voters are ignorant, then democracy in any form is a stupid idea.

Whether you like it or not, the fact that a majority opposes the bill will have future consequences. So ignoring it because you think people are stupid doesn't make much sense.

None of which changes the fact that you were wrong to compare it to auto insurance, which was my point.
