Why would anybody ignore a post in a forum dedicated to debates and arguments? If this post doesn't need to be debated, then it should either go to the "off-topic discussion" board or not be posted at all.

Your right. It is a debate forum.

Guess I should have said. MS why do you think it is "It's a pile of steaming turgid dross, tall as its mercifully dead author. Let it lie. "

IMO, Red was a great example of what Americans should be.

My stance of MS statements says alot about him stands.

I don't think he was stating any trash. He was pointing out that Red Skelton was feeling nostalgic for an era that wasn't nearly as good as he believed it was. And I agree with him that it wasn't all that great.

An older rock than the OP. My statement refers to the debasing of Skelton's politics into feelgood rose-tinted trash. How do you debate trash without referral to trash?

Ok. However I disagree with you. So how much respect do you have for America and how do you show it?

I bet if Red Skelton was black, homosexual, and a woman he wouldn't have nearly the respect for America that he did as a straight, white man.

Good luck finding a post on this forum where I've stated my support for anything Barbara Streisand has said.

Just so you know, I don't listen to her either.
