No, I think most Republicans are pretty happy with our guys right now for standing in opposition to this gross violation of federal authority. We'll definitely find out in November this year.
Well...you have to admit that part of that is because the Democratic party is much more broad than the Republican party.

Republicans may be happy with the childish tactics that the Republicans are engaging in, in much the same way that they were happy and cheering on the teabaggers in their childish behavior....and in much the same way as the Republicans have engaged in heckling and other childish behavior.

I agree...we will definitely find out in November. I just wouldn't expect too much if I were you. November is a long way off and the election is going to turn much more on the state of the economy than it is on anything else.
With the economy improving, I suspect that the HUGE gains that some of you are expecting, are not going to materialize. But as you said...we shall see.

I know. They have managed to convince a broad variance of the population that they are victims and need the democratic party to continue perpetuating victim entitlements.

Republicans may be happy with the childish tactics that the Republicans are engaging in,
It is not childish to stand up for our rights as they are being promised away to everyone who can claim any kind of victimhood imaginable.

in much the same way that they were happy and cheering on the teabaggers in their childish behavior....
I am not even going to answer your shrill vulgarity in this.

and in much the same way as the Republicans have engaged in heckling and other childish behavior.
Link it or it didn't happen.

I agree...we will definitely find out in November. I just wouldn't expect too much if I were you.
I imagine having low expectations is the democrat way, but I have higher standards, thankyouverymuch.

November is a long way off and the election is going to turn much more on the state of the economy than it is on anything else.
True...and Obama has categorically failed on that front, so far.

With the economy improving, I suspect that the HUGE gains that some of you are expecting, are not going to materialize. But as you said...we shall see.

    LOL!

    you see?

the "support" offered around here FOR OBAMA is pathetic

TWENTY POINTS in the KEYSTONE STATE!

    TWENTY POINTS in the WOLVERINE!

the STATE ASSEMBLIES turning deep, dark red, all across america!

State polls show gathering storm - David Catanese - POLITICO.com

    so, let's sum up:

    1. we've got senate seats from nevada to north dakota to pennsylvania to arkansas to delaware to colorado to indiana going red by double digits

    2. we've got senate seats in illinois, new york, california, wisconsin and washington that are toss up, all currently held by blues

    3. we've got obama's seat, biden's seat, harry's seat and hillary's seat either leaning red by double digits or within ready reach

    4. we've got a house majority that is within reach of red takeover

    5. cuz if the senate goes, the house has no chance

    6. and if we even come close in either house, it's almost as good cuz the slim blue majority remaining will be intimidated into capitulation

    7. we've got gub races in pennsylvania, michigan, tennessee, colorado, iowa, illinois, ohio, wisconsin, oklahoma and wyoming---all currently in blue hands---where the gop is posting TODAY historic, revolutionary leads

    8. we've got the state assemblies in california, new york, connecticut, north carolina, rhode island and iowa---all called out by politico, all controlled by dems---that are about as popular as trent lott at a cbc convention

    9. and we've got obama's "supporters" who just can't seem to bring themselves to discuss obama or the issues in play

    10. pathetic

That sounds like something my grandfather would have said...

Look Jall...people can oppose, that's fine. But the political grandstanding is just silly. You know as well as I know as well as the Republicans know, these tactics are not going to accomplish anything. Its nothing more than silly political games. I hate it when the Democrats engage in it....and I hate it when the Republicans engage in it.
You lost the battle. Rather than fight these silly political games that aren't going to accomplish anything, get back to trying to do something that actually will have a benefit on the country.

Opposing passage of this bill will benefit the country. I wholeheartedly support the Republicans in this obstruction. I don't support every obstruction, but this is one that I am devotedly behind. I've read the bill; it is not acceptable.

I know it will impede the democrats until we can get enough republicans in there to put this measure down like a rabid dog.
