I'll assume you meant the multitudes of people who wanted to prevent a financial collapse.

And how did that bailout work out for us?
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

I know, companies actually paying their executives, it's horrible. (/sarcasm)

Would you prefer an economic collapse to executives being paid? I didn't think so.

Actually, if I could have it my way, we would have at least 3-5 parties relatively equal in size. They would be FORCED to work together and collaborate.

One thing for sure. Today's GOP is as worthless as tits on a bore hog.

They might as well stay home. Why even show up to work if you don't plan to, like, work. They get paid anyways. They can't/won't change with the will of the country. So stay home. See if I care.

Like it or not. America is going to progress. It's kinda hard to turn around a big ship.

I feeling pretty positive about America's future here lately. I still believe in the USA. And the fish are really starting to bite, too. It's win-win in my neck of the woods.

I wanna buy me an old "America: Love it or leave it" bumper sticker.

I want the GOP to either lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way.

I would dump my newfound respect for SOME of the democrat ideals in a split second if I could have my old GOP back. But, right now, I'd just as soon let Rush, Glenn, and Sean have it. I am starting to think it is damaged beyond repair. So now, we got a one party system. They better make their hay while the sun shines. Nothing lasts forever in politics.

Well, we who have more common sense have seen what one party Demo-Rat rule has done to all of the major urban areas where the only choices were "What flavor Democrat would you like this time??"

A good solution to that would be to like, round all you guys up, and give you Rhode Island. You could have your own little paradise.

    Hey, I'm cool with that.
