President Obama to be interviewed on Fox News

With Obama's track record of lying his ass off every time he speaks wouldn't it be nice to have someone enterprising person with the right software use a voice stress analyzer on Obama and post it for the world to see him do the only thing he does consistently and that is lie.

This could make someone as famous ad Matt Drudge over night, and maybe cause Obama to change his lying ways.

I think that's a good thing. He can't ignore a huge news outlet like Fox. They have a very large viewership and it's good that Obama is manning up, instead of whining how how bad Fox news is.

If it's nothing but soft, pre-approved questions it will be a waste of time, if it‘s really questions that get to the meat of the subjects it will be landmark...... we'll see when the transcript comes out.

Oreilly should do the interview and the questions should not pre screened.........

Nah, I think an actual journalist should suffice. That would be like Keith Olbermann interviewing George W. Bush, which I wouldn't be interested in seeing either.

I actually remember Oreilly interviewing Obama prior to the election and I thought it was a pretty fair interview..As far as Olbermann interviewing Bush on MSNBC I don't believe you could ever compare the two.....

Well, of course you wouldn't. After all, O'Reilly is more right leaning, which means you probably agree with most of his stuff and therefore don't find him to be biased in the least. I'd say that Olbermann is perhaps a little more blatant with his bias..kind of like Hannity. However, in the end they are all opinion shows, so it really doesn't matter one way or another. I'd much rather have a legitimate journalist conduct the interview than someone who is going to be biased either way.

Its really too bad the last one died over a decade ago.

There are still legitimate journalists out there. They are just few and far between and not given as much press as outspoken hosts of opinion shows. People love sensationalism.

Like all Presidential interviews, no matter what political lean, it will be pre-screened and scripted.

They should have Glenn Beck do it. At least then by the end of the show the value of gold will go up.

you's need to learn how an interview with a head of state goes, serously, pre scripted? why do that?

I have my issues with Oreilly but your right, nothing compared Olbermann whom I think is a real nut...The problem with your scenario us most legitimate journalists lean left so not sure that would work either......

Anyhow the guy doing the interview in my opinion is a real wuss so I would not expect much out of it...

Another name who could do the job (you probably don't like him because he is a strong conservative) is Brit Hume........

Bloggers converse? When did that start?

PM me and I'll teach you abstract thought.

Filming just wrapped up. They showed a little of it. Bret said it was a difficult interview.

Glenn Beck will never interview a sitting President for the same reason Howard Stern will never interview-- their shows are not to inform, but to entertain.

Wasn't beer summit and the noble peace prize enough for you? What will it take for you to partake of the cool aid my friend. Forget about the economy, forget about jobs, deficit. Let's focus on healthcare and gays in the military.

I found the parts of the interview that I saw disappointing. The interviewer was objectively RUDE. Jesus Christ. Let the guy answer your questions, Brett! But I wish Obama had been cooler throughout the interview. He let some rude asshole get to him.

Ya I agree, but a lot of people will love the interviewer for it.
