This is still from a blog, and it should be noted that no cameras or recording devices where allowed at the hall she spoke at, so there is a strong likelihood this is exaggerated.

It sounds like that it was something her parents did while she was a kid. You can't pin this on her.

A Canadian doesn't have to sneak into the US to get medical treatment, all he needs is the cash to pay for it, just like it should be for everyone.

I think this is just another of her lies, or at least exaggeration. The Barracuda was born in 1964. How much of "the 60's" could she remember, anyway?
 
Her family must have been poor if they had to go to Canada for health care.
