Twittering is the latest example of our narcissistic society. What about the woman in Florida who twittered when her son was getting CPR after drowning in their pool? The whole genre is absurd.
Makes me grind my teeth.
If you notice something good in yourself, give credit to God, not to yourself, but be certain the evil you commit is always your own and yours to acknowledge.
I gotta tell you what I find so fascinating about this whole thing. I CANNOT stand attention whores. They annoy the crap out of me. When I read the headline, I thought, "Oh gosh. Are you kidding me?" I watched the footage and then I watched her interview on CNN.com and it made sense to me.
Why I am fascinated by this is that normally I feel the way liblady and others feel about someone who twitters very personal life experiences, but for whatever reason, I'm not disgusted by this woman's twittering.
I feel as if, even most pro-choice women realize that abortion is regretable, and very personal and private. Most women don't make the decision without a great deal of personal anguish. It SHOULD be taboo to flaunt it like this, no matter how valid you think your reasons are.
There should be some subjects that are just too personal to advertise to the world.
