Just agree with my for crying out loud.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

And there you have it. There are expectations...from current and potential sponsors, and more importantly, the press, who play a major part in influencing how those sponsors will decide to support Woods.

The mainstream media drives this show. If it weren't for them Woods would quietly deal with his family and go right back to playing golf. But viewership needs to be generated, and the media outlets know there is an eager viewership. So Woods is screwed. It is public apologies like this, or suffer the consequences when he finally does try to get back to work.

This thing is really stupid, isn't it? He did what most men would do given his enormous wealth and ability to attract sexy young women. If not divorce, his wife will punish him enough should they stick it out. Why does society feel it needs to pile on?

....nor are those that "apologize" with a prepared statement and refuse to answer questions.

    Re: Tiger: A thousand apologies

I did view the apology online, it was repetative. I think he's sincere actually. Other than that, I don't really follow golf and have never really cared one way or another about Tiger Woods. He's not the first celebrity to cheat on his wife, but I guess his endorsements were predicated on him being a squeaky clean role model?
