Yes, the catastrophic decline in poll numbers(polls that the Left once honored) isn't comparable, Obama's numbers dropping faster than Lindsay Vonn.
Well, there's another person ignorant of statistics. You are arguing a single data point is revolutionary. Everyone who has the slightest understanding of statistics is laughing at you.

No, I'm using your savage political beatings in New Jersey and Massachusetts not to mention your political TKO suffered in virginia. To ignore the groundswell against you and pretend this is a single data point is disingenuous.
Come again? I'm not a Democrat. And you are ignoring how many states are still strong Democrat. Not to mention the dislike of both parties. Both you and Navy are ignoring that because it suits your bias.

Too true and the reason we Repubs are focusing on 2010, we think we can give you a serious politcal bloody nose if not take back one of the houses of congress forcing the clown to change the circus tents.

Find you a poll? How typical. Why not I give you an election result? Had I stood there and told you on Feb 18, 2009 that a Republican would win by 5 points in deep blue Massachusetts......in the seat held by the late Teddy Kennedy....speaking of practical fusion. That was a catastrophic and unexpected loss, had anyone predicted it shortly after Obama's Inaug...you Obvious....would have dismissed it outright.

    Look at us now.

Well, there's another person ignorant of statistics. You are arguing a single data point is revolutionary. Everyone who has the slightest understanding of statistics is laughing at you.
Including John Kerry standing next to Scott Brown as the former nude model is sworn in and shatters the Left's precious filibuster proof dictatorship? And on Nov 3rd of this year, I'll be right here.....open for conversation. Available to discuss your single data point philsophy here rather than realizing the widest majority in history with a Socialist President.......is in deep serious trouble and unable to get anything done. Oh....And I remember everyone using the same laugh when some told them in Feb 1994 that a man named Newt would become Speaker of the House. History repeats itself, and, denial ain't no river in Egypt.

And you are ignoring how many states are still strong Democrat.
Like Massachusets? Or New Jersey? Are those like the strong Democrat States yer talking about?

Not to mention the dislike of both parties. Both you and Navy are ignoring that because it suits your bias.
I'm not the one making up words like single data point to defned Democrats, OC, have you forgotten that? My contention here is sum it anyway you'd like, if incumbents are in danger, the Left has a majority and is managing government. However, Republicans...not Independents beat Democrats by wide margins exclusing the NY23 race which is a single data point election. New Jersey and Massachusetts and Virginia were Obama states, the campaigned for the candidates there...and got wiped out. Now...if that isn't a shot across the bow and isn't a serious change from 2009 at this very same date, then what you say below in your next sentence is true.

Labeling people is generally a sign you have zero debate skill.
Denial OC. It gives you away.

Statistics is clearly beyond this one.

So, if I take a poll that has never been asked, and then say it's revolutionary despite never being asked before, do I have something identical to compare it to?

    No.

No actual discussion about how statistics works. Why am I not surprised?

Like Massachusets? Or New Jersey? Are those like the strong Democrat States yer talking about?
    Check out Bayh's numbers.

Actually you are. You called a single data point "eye opening."

Now...if that isn't a shot across the bow and isn't a serious change from 2009 at this very same date, then what you say below in your next sentence is true.
Did you even read your own statement? You are arguing that a single poll is eye opening based on an apple-orange comparison.

Denial OC. It gives you away.
More like your inability to win an arguments is why you think I'm a democrat.

Apparently if you say that the stimulus has failed, you're a Democrat. Because that's why you just argued. Commence the laughing now.

You of all people should support Obama . After all he is finally going after terrorists in Afghanistan. He is doing what Bush should have done 7 years ago.

It is way too early to judge Obama. It is only the start of his second year. It is not 1980. If the economy starts turning around in a couple of years no one will have a chance against Obama. If things get worse, Obama is gone.

A couple years from now Obama will have created more debt than Reagan, Clinton, and Bush combined. The debt service will be more than the defense budget and the value of the dollar will be worthless.

Obama is a campaigner and tells the people what he believes they want to hear. He has a different view of the role of the Federal Govt. than our founders.

It is never too early to judge someone who is leading this country over the cliff. His focus on growing the size of govt. and govt. spending to increase the economy is short term thinking and unsustainable.

Bush already led this country over the cliff. He doubled the debt and destroyed the economy. Remember? Obama is trying to climb back up. He is using spending to pull us out of the recession just like Reagan did. Just like FDR did.
    Bush 2009 budget 3.1 trillion
    Obama 2010 budget 3.6 Trillion.

How many top leaders has Obama taken out? How many did Bush take out? Let me help you.

No, Bush didn't destroy the economy, we had 46 straight months of strong economic growth. The Democrats took Congress in the 2006 elections and the recession began in December 2007.

Stop buying the rhetoric, It was the Bush budget in 2009 but NOT the Bush stimulus plan of 842 billion dollars that Obama signed in February 2009. It wasn't the Bush bailout of GM/Chrysler. It wasn't the 2 million job losses that cut govt. revenue.

Obama was in the Senate and voted for everything that Bush spent but only in the liberal world would that mean no responsibility for the deficit. Bush signed the TARP bill in October 2008 and spent 350 billion of the 700 billion dollar bill leaving 350 billion for Obama. Obama voted for the TARP bill that he credits for bringing us back from the brink yet blames Bush for the deficit.

That empty suit in the WH is good at placing blame but poor at accepting responsibility. Only in the liberal world can you vote for spending but never take credit for the spending. Only in the liberal world can you blame Bush for the budget deficit but never take steps to cut the budget.

Obama proposed a 1.6 trillion dollar deficit this fiscal year and 1.3 trillion next. None of those budgets were Bush's

    Keep up the

Great list, apparently that doesn't resonate with the Obama supporters however who refuse to accept that Bush did anything good during his term but is responsibile for everything bad that happened.

Polls like this are rather idiotic imho and don't tell us much.

I'm really not a fan of Ruby Tuesdays. Its not a bad place but I don't like it much and I've got some pretty horrible service recently that turned me off. If asked if I'd want to go there for dinner I'd say no in a general sense. However if the option was cached "Would you rather go to Ruby Tuesdays or Red Lobster" and I'm allergic to seafood, well, despite my desire not to go to Ruby Tuesdays it'd still probably be my choice.

What I'm saying is until you can match Obama up with someone else and ask "who would you rather", these kind of polls tell us relatively little in terms of actual useful predictive material for 2012
