David Paterson this week, you will not have been surprised to hear that the vast majority of the Q&A was devoted to questions about what the New York Times might or might not be reporting about him. The real blizzard under discussion, it turned out, involved deep drifts of loose talk piling up around the Capitol.
Paterson, who said he sat down with Times reporters today for an interview, seemed to relish the chance to push back against almost two weeks of speculation that a bombshell story was in the works.
