Sen. Scott Brown's (R-Mass.) election has been shown to be "a joke," the son of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) said Thursday.
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.) castigated Brown for having pushed to be sworn in ahead of schedule to permanently fill the Senate seat left vacant by the congressman's father's death in August.
"Brown's whole candidacy was shown to be a joke today when he was sworn in early in order to cast his first vote as an objection to Obama's appointment to the NLRB," Kennedy said Thursday.

Kennedy was referencing some Democrats' thoughts that Brown tried to bump up his swearing-in in order to give Republicans 41 votes, enough to filibuster the nomination of Craig Becker, a controversial nominee to join the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Sour grapes, I'd say.

If the Brown campaign was a joke, then "Marcia" Coakley was the punchline.

From your post:

Hmmmmmmm.... seems the boy is a little loose with the truth.

The 2010 United States Senate special election in Massachusetts was a special election held on January 19, 2010

United States Senate special election in Massachusetts, 2010 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Massachusetts law requires that each election for Senators be certified, and that the certification can take as long as 15 days after the election date.

Massachusetts Election Law- the meaning of “duly elected and qualified”

Now, I took off my shoes and counted it up.... he was supposed to be certified and seated on 2-3-2010.... seems like they were a day late, and a dollar short, again.

The Kennedy clan should go back to the building blocks of what made them great!

Contraband distribution .
Yeah, looks like their loon escaped the compound.

Scott Brown is currently having the last laugh in this comedy.

Brown is a joke but so is Kennedy. Although the bigger joke is you so called conservatives thinking this statist piece of **** who supported Romneycare believes in small government.

How's that libertarian campaign working for you? Got anyone in office yet? Yup, it's easy to take potshots from the outside when you have no one in office, isn't it? You don't actually have to govern or make a law or produce much of anything.

Not to mention, he's trailing in his polls to a Republican, which has him crapping his knickers right now..
OOH what is Patches to do, he actually may have to work for a living..that's is when he is sober.

Wait wait wait... A Kennedy working for a living? That's just crazy talk.

LOL, he will be so insulted being amongst us commoners.

patrick is teddy's boy, a congressman from RI

he's been busted for drunk driving a couple times and he's always checking himself back into some rehab

he once rented a boat, crashed it and abandoned it, ruined

last time (that i remember) he got busted he ran into a barricade at 3 in the morning, obviously wasted, told cops he was in a hurry cuz he was late for a floor vote

so the po po's, in typical chappaquiddick fashion, drove him home and put him to bed

literally, on the floor patrick tries to say as few sentences as possible, his speech appears permanently slurred

he's just a last name to them

and a disgrace

well every family has a few **** up members whether they're in your immediate family or your extended one. It doesn't take away from the fact that Ted (as most Kennedy's) was a great politician. I agree with you 100% Patrick is a drunken disgrace... all in all it will be interesting to see what happens in future senate and house elections... looks like we might get a "Clinton" situation with a republican majority in congress... if so we're all ****ed because absolutely nothing will get done at all :tongue4:

you can't be a great politician in america after you left a girl to die

you and i have different standards
