VIDEO: Obama Mispronounces "Corpsman" At Prayer Breakfast

I'm telling you, Obama is vastly undereducated. He lacks basic education, particularly history (I don't trust politicians who don't know their history); he's only well-read in the ideologies he espouses.

And yet he trounced his Republican competition. What does that say about his competition?

I remember when the Dems made the exact same arguments against Bush. "Bush is stupid, Bush is a simpleton, Bush can't give a speech".

And yet Bush kicked the Dem's asses. Twice.

I'm just saying it's fair to criticize each of them, but not just the one you don't agree with poltically (which doesn't apply to you obviously). I'm a conservative guy that supported Bush, but his diction drove me crazy. I never thought it meant he was stupid though.

I do think Obama's lack of experience is really showing though, and not because of this. He looks and sounds like a lost puppy.

uhm, it told us that McCain could not out obama, obama

he lost many of us on the right, I could not vote for the guy.

OMG...hey erod....did you happen to check the pronunciation at webster's? you'd better, before you continue to spout this bull****. check the audio, too, it's really enlightening.

Main Entry: corps·man
Pronunciation: \ˈkȯr(z)-mən\
Function: noun
Date: 1901
1 : an enlisted man trained to give first aid and minor medical treatment
2 : a member of a government-sponsored service corps

Corpsman - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Webster's is wrong. It's pronounced core-man. Not that I care about Obama's mispronunciation - it means nothing to me - but you're just wrong.

So who is a conservative you could vote for? For me obviously it's Ron Paul. And even he scares me quite a bit. But hell they all scare me...

There is no one currently that comes to mind right now as sad as that is.

Well are you looking for social or fiscal conservatives? Or someone who's both?

And yeah, I know. I feel your pain. ;)

I think some portrayed him as a moron, but it was not widespread. He frequently got credit for putting together a strong team, for having a down home type intelligence.

:lamo

Were we on the same forums?

Further, the argument that since some one else was an asshole, so it's ok when our guys are assholes is getting old. Past behavior does not excuse current behavior.

Was that my argument?

No, you're not "just sayin". This is a perfect example of hyper-partisan nitpicking. It's typical of people who cannot debate topics or provide any meaningful insight into anything on a message board.

I watched people do the exact same thing to Bush for 8 years. It was childish and silly then, it's childish and silly now.

As much as I despise Obama, I have to agree. This sort of thing was 3rd-grade nyah-nyah level stuff when it was done to Bush, and it is still petty when done to Obama. There's pleny of substantial things to criticize Obama about, there's no need to resort to the level that the hyperpartisan leftists did during Bush's presidency.

While I can understand how longsuffering frustration over some of the petty crap that was thrown at Bush makes some want to throw the same petty crap back, it isn't worth losing your dignity over.

Yea it might have been petty when done to bush but where were all the libs claiming it as such? No, they repeatedly said it proved bush was a moron yet when it's Obama it's nit picky for both? Whoa, I smell the stinch of a hypocrit. And it's overwhelming.

I know.... .Goshin is a raging liberal, you need to watch out for that one.... Me too. :ssst:

It's his negro dialect. You know, the one that Henry Reid has been talking about.

Yep. That's all it is. It's Bush people wanting "payback" against Obama. Now I understand that, but it's a waste of time. Hopefully someone will eventually take the high road and stop this nonsense.

Actually, it's just racism.

obama is sposed to be such a great orator

but he SAYS HIMSELF that the reason his SIGNATURE ISSUE, health care, is so unpopular is cuz HE FAILED to explain it to americans

he's not a very good speaker at all, it turns out

cuz every time he talks he reveals he doesn't know what he's doing

iran, ksm, mutallab, gitmo, jobs, debt, energy, banking, wall street, health ca...

united states politics---he's alientating the people and his own party

everytime he opens his mouth he reveals to the pros that he's rank amateur

sorry

This is too funny to be real.

I feel like I stepped back in time.

Only the tables have turned.

Yesterday it was "nuclear" and today it's "corpsman."

The usual suspects at play. Only now, roles have reversed.

Obama pronouced corpsman as "corpseman" twice within the same speech. That's not a slip; that's your president not knowing how to pronounce an everyday word, albeit a military word, which might just explain it right there.

No big deal, you say? Well, harken back to the endless rants about Bush and his "nuc-u-lar" and "tourist attack" mispronunciations - which I dogpiled on, too, because it was funny - and ask yourself, why so little is made by the left of Obama's absolute dependence on teleprompters and his obvious lack of basic high school knowledge of history and economics.

I'm just sayin'.

I'm sorry, but would you mind connecting these two dots.

1) "Obama pronouced corpsman as "corpseman" twice within the same speech"

2) "[Obama's] obvious lack of basic high school knowledge of history and economics"

Because you made quite a leap in your OP -- I'm just wondering if you can back it up with real life examples or logic...

Anytime you're ready...
:waiting:

What is the President of a secular state doing at a "prayer breakfast"?
