    1) He is skeptical and not overtly contented with Obama like the right would have the public believe about most liberals. He also brings up the "regulatory mechanism" which is sort of a funny way to flirt around this notion of "big gov't" or government control. He brings up lead in toys and uses it as an analysis for government regulation and usage of federal fiat.

    2) Stewart criticizes the congress, noting that Obama has made Congress an equal branch of government.

    3) He eloquently phrases his argument vis-a-vis the "Do-nothing republicans". He brings up that they would prefer not to do anything unless its in their interest. The Press Conference comment brings up the Tort reform issue, and how Obama wants to bring it to the table for the GOP.

    The Second Clip.

    1) O'Rielly brings up McCain and Dick Cheney as reasons for FOX news not being a right leaning organization. Stewart has no comment, but I would posit this:
-McCain is a relatively unpopular centrist who is a dying(double entendre) breed
-Dick Cheney is arguably the most unpopular member of the GOP as of the 21st century.

Secondly, I would also add that:
-Sarah Palin is now a FOX news contributer
-Karl Rove is a FOX news contributer
-The only liberal they had was Colmes, who they fired.
really, how many liberals do you know who are completely happy with obama? i'm sure not.

Not even that. I watched the video clips linked in this thread. I do on occasion watch O'Reilly, but very rarely, about as often these days as I watch Countdown. I do watch that liberal bastion that is Hardball daily though.

Not many. What I'm trying to say though is that Stewart uses sort of a hands off, "needs work" approach to the Obama Administration.

Contrast this with the nascent and growing "Messiah" pejorative, the idea that for some reason Liberals believe Obama is the chosen one who will rescue the US.

Stewart is smart to detach himself from the stereotype of the left's love affair with Obama.

“Here's the brilliance — here's the brilliance of Fox News. What you have been able to do, you and Dr. Ailes, have been able to mainstream conservative talk radio.” — Jon Stewart on Bill O'Reilly, The O'Reilly Factor, February 4, 2010¹

I thought this was a very insightful observation.

Pretty obvious you don't watch Fox if you believe that crap.

    Liberal Fox News contributors

    Juan Williams
    Marla Liason
    Mark Lamont Hill

And thats just off the top of my head

You forgot the fact that O'Reilly exposed Stewart for the partisan hack he is when he refused to criticize all the liberal networks for refusing to show ANY of Brown's acceptance speech live yet Stewart goes after fox for cutting off Obama after being on for a full hour.

    Now that was beautiful.

MSNBC covered Brown's embarrassing victory speech.

Not live and not in its entirety.

    Even Stewart admitted it.

I'm talking about opinion shows. They are all center-right at least.

I'm not talking about the Brown speech, that's absolutely no where in my post. I'm talking about good points stewart made.

And no, I don't make a habit of watching televised news, in general. Period.

You can call O'Reilly a lot of things, but insecurity is most definitely NOT one of them.
