    Re: O'Reilly vs. Stewart!!!

What I personally find funny is how insecure O'Reilly seems to be. The man is good at what he does, but I think he fails a bit when he has to bring people like Dennis Miller to help give him an ego boost and tell him why he dominated the interview that they are discussing. Funnily enough, he didn't really get that this time from Miller. Miller instead was straddling the line between the two of them and making supportive comments of both, even though he admitted that he agrees with O'Reilly's politics more. Then O'Reilly has to have the body language expert on for more ego boosting. I just personally find it kind of funny.

It was an odd watch for me because I really enjoy Stewart but disagree with him politically altogether, and I generally agree with O"Reilly, but I absolutely can't stand him.

O'Reilly gives me the eebie-jeebies, and his presentation skills are awful. I've never understand why he's so successful, and Hannity as well, because they just look and sound so awkward on TV.

Miller is on every Wednesday. He didn't "bring" him in just for this show.

The body language lady is on the show almost every week too.

This is not groundbreaking stuff. It's a hack opinion guy interviewing a comedian. In the whole grand scheme of things, this should fall under the category of "big deal."
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

Either of which could defeat Nancy Pelosi in a game of Jeopardy 100 times out of 100.

    It's all relative.

That is not a complaint, just a curiosity.

Except that comedian happens to be the best news commentator out there

I know that they are on regularly. I still find it funny and it makes him seem more insecure than anything else.

I think it's a safer bet that the only reason a majority of them watched it was because Jon Stewart was on.

Stewart brought up these points, which I thought were interesting.

    1) He is skeptical and not overtly contented with Obama like the right would have the public believe about most liberals. He also brings up the "regulatory mechanism" which is sort of a funny way to flirt around this notion of "big gov't" or government control. He brings up lead in toys and uses it as an analysis for government regulation and usage of federal fiat.

    2) Stewart criticizes the congress, noting that Obama has made Congress an equal branch of government.

    3) He eloquently phrases his argument vis-a-vis the "Do-nothing republicans". He brings up that they would prefer not to do anything unless its in their interest. The Press Conference comment brings up the Tort reform issue, and how Obama wants to bring it to the table for the GOP.

    The Second Clip.

    1) O'Rielly brings up McCain and Dick Cheney as reasons for FOX news not being a right leaning organization. Stewart has no comment, but I would posit this:
-McCain is a relatively unpopular centrist who is a dying(double entendre) breed
-Dick Cheney is arguably the most unpopular member of the GOP as of the 21st century.

Secondly, I would also add that:
-Sarah Palin is now a FOX news contributer
-Karl Rove is a FOX news contributer
-The only liberal they had was Colmes, who they fired.
