Under Bush's presidency, the Republican Congress added $3.2 trillion and the Democratic Congress under Bush added another $1.7 trillion, 700 billion of which went out in loans to keep the banks from collapse.

Nice spin but total BS. Obama has lied and exaggerated jobs. Unemployment is so bad even truck drivers are out of work. Obama has only helped his cronies.

So it took the dems 2 years and the GOP 6 years. That means the acceleration was seen much more under the democrats.

That's what happens when the previous tenant lets the place go to **** for 8 years. By my way of thinking we haven't spent near enough yet, we still have enough borrowing capacity to continue two unfunded wars!

When we have to cut our bloated military spending which now equals the rest of the world combined, than I will know we are serious about reducing our debt! Until than, spend baby spend!!!!:mrgreen:

Obama has increased funding for the Bush wars! That's not what I voted for! He's doing right by the social policies but he is just as hawkish as Bush was in foreign policy.

It is coming. He has denied SS cost of living raises. Obama shows he cares nothing about the less fortunate and those on fixed incomes.

It amazes me too. I just had a $100 increase on my part D for this year. There is probably not a politician in washington who know what the cost of a loaf of bread is.

It is hard being angry when everything I predicted before the election is coming true. Fortunately I will survive the Obama Presidency unlike many others here. I have to laugh at the cult followers who bought the rhetoric and ignored the resume. You got exactly who I said you would get, an empty suit unqualified to be President.

Uh, no, the TARP bailout was in 2009 and only 350 billion spent by Bush most of which has been repaid. Democrats Controlled Congress in 2007 and 2008 so suggest you redo your math and for a change get the facts straight.

He is addressing most of my priorities. That is more than I expected from moderate politician.

Please take a civics course and stop embarrassing yourself. Your ignorance of how our govt. works says a lot about the education system in this country today. Let me know when the cleaning up of the so called mess begins because it is worse now than it was when Obama took office, deficit, debt, unemployment, govt. revenue, GDP. For someone your age I am shocked by your lack of education.

Your priorities? Higher unemployment, low economic growth in the private sector, greater debt, bigger military budget, but what the hell, we are going to get gays in the military, you must be so proud.

Your empty suit hasn't delivered on one campaign promise so not sure what you are talking about when you claim he is addressing most of your priorities. He is still campaigning and doesn't know how to lead.
