I am waiting for Governor Sanford of SC to resign. I saw his wife on the Larry King show and the guy is a real douche bag.

What purpose would a trial of Richard Nixon had served? His actions weren't nearly as bad as Clinton's and you know it or do you have such a short memory as to what actually happened.

Watergate was a stupid blunder on Nixon's part especially since he was winning by double digits. His coverup was the crime compared to Clinton lying under oath which underminds our entire legal system.

Nixon resigned from office, Clinton is now a hero to the left. Make sense to you? Of course it does

Now that is true liberal logic and ignores that Clinton was President of the United States and Sanford IS Governor of S.C.

Do you need someone to explain the difference to you? I don't live in S.C. but I do live in the United States.

Actually it is a personal observation based upon your posts. Sorry if you perceive it as a personal attack as that isn't the intent. I am trying to understand how someone your age can have the views you have in spite of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

I would have to agree. Clinton's indescretions pale in comparison to Nixon's. Not even in the same league. Not even close.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here but do you feel the same about Libby obstructing justice too?

But I seriously can't understand why you would considered someone lying, after being backed into a corner, about a blow-job and cheating on his wife, even comparable to heading up a team that utilizes burgulary, theft, and obstruction of justice to advance their causes.

Don't add up. And you're a smart guy too. If you were some of these other "conservatives" that grace us with their presence here every day, I would understand. But you're not. That's what has me so puzzled. :confused:

What facts do you want me to show you? All are verifiable, economic data comes from BEA.gov, Unemployment comes from BLS.gov and the debt information comes from the U.S. Treasury Website.

Let's at least be discussing the same issues and stay on the thread topic.

Not my battle. I was merely commenting to LA that assuming to "know it all" is somewhat symptomatic to the more extreme rightists. But, I never considered you to be one of those guys. You and I agree on a lot more than we disagree on. But I do see your opinions pretty much falling down the party line regardless of their validity, on more occassions than not.

Because lying under oath is a violation of the law regardless of the topic. Susan Weber Wright thought so as well.

Secret bombing of cambodia. Lots more in the nixon tapes. Why do you think ford pardoned him/ Even his vice president was the biggest crook in american history. Don't forget about nixon's McCarthy days. He made a rep chasing invisible commies and then opened up trade with communist china.
