It a lot different for a liberal to go after a president for violating the constitution than it is for a conservative to go after a president for a blow job.

On this day in 1998, after nearly 14 hours of debate, the outgoing 105th Congress approved two articles of impeachment against President Bill Clinton.

A House resolution charged him with lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice. Clinton thus became the only the second president (and the only elected president) to be impeached, following President Andrew Johnson in 1868. (In 1974, Richard Nixon resigned as an impeachment vote loomed.)

Maybe you ought to talk to Susan Weber Wright and tell her she misinterpreted the law when she fined him and took away his law license.

What about Nixon, he is out of office, so is Clinton? This thread is about Obama.

This apparently is all you can do, divert to the past. What relevance does Nixon or Clinton have to do with the empty suit in the WH now and the "disaster" that he isn't cleaning up but instead making worse.

I would take GW Bush back in a heartbeat

Nixon was never impeached. He was a man and resigned before impeachment proceedings were started. That is more than Clinton would ever do. Clinton made history by being the second President ever impeached.

The impeachment was not supported by a 2/3 majority, therefore it contained no punitive actions.
