Obama State of the Union

That had to be the worst State of the Union speech I have ever heard. Obama just gave another one of his empty campaign speeches. Utterly empty of content. What a clown. All he needed was to put on his clown suit and makeup and it would have been a consummate performance by the most accomplished con man in generations. Disgraceful!

You had this post already typed up before the speech no doubt. And I am not believing you all sat down with an open mind. Before you say it too, neither did I went Bush spoke. Now , I realize how much of a jackass we must have sound. If we sounded this whiney then I apologize to everyone.

This is the Micro Manager Speech.
The Anti-Reagan speech.

.

The panjandrum, Community Agitator in Chief, flounders on in his innept quest to "fundamentally transform America" into a neo-marxist "spread the wealth around" miasma of mediocrity.

He has met his Waterloo.

One point I did like was Obama stating Congress needs to change the tax rules so the companies that create jobs in the US get the break and not those that ship jobs oversees.

I also am a bit tired of blaming the past administration as to why things are still bad.

I hope for America that Congress, the Senate and the President can find a way to work togeather and pass meaniful spending bills.

But for the most part, sounded much like a political bs speach.

You may well be tired of Obama blaming past administrations for the problems he is facing today.
But what you fail to realize is that it takes a number of years to reverse the policies of one administration to those of a newer administration.
There will be a hangover from the Clinton administration over the US economy for at the very least another 10 to 15 years, this is not condoning the mess that this onionhead is causing to the US economy and indeed the freedoms we just about continue to have.
Once the US recovers from the Clinton years we then need to recover from the deprdations of the Bush years before we or rather our grandchildren can get to grips with what this onion head gets up to.

Racist much?

I don't know if I would call those comments racist, but more in just poor taste.

As for the speech, I wasn't really blown away. But then again after having to listen to President Bush's I learned fairly quickly the State of the Union speech is more just words than action, so I am not getting my hopes up. Although I would like to see President Obama go through with some of the things he talked about.

And another liberal plays the race card on behalf of the neo-marxist community agitator in chief.

Yep, whenever someone points out apparent racism, it's playing the race card. Neo-Marxists vs. neo-Fascists, I know which I'd choose. :2razz:

apparent racism
:lamo You project your own bias onto somebody and then try to smear their character by playing the race card. Then you stumble back with such equivocation as you show here when called on it. Pathetic.

I'm listening to the speech now, so far it seems decent, with some good ideas.

This from a Canadian, land of socialism.

So calling the President a "smelly foreigner" isn't apparent racism? Explain to me how it isn't.

:rofl

Sorry, I can't take your intellectually dishonest hyperbolic posts seriously anymore.

Yet another baseless accusation. If you can't compete just hang it up, don't lash out in frustration. :lamo

Dingy Harry called tourists in DC smelly foreigners. Was that racist too in your liberal viticrat mind?

why should I particularly care about some American

If you don't care about some America why do you waste so much of your time commenting on Americans???

Way to take my comment out of context, but perhaps I should have said random American.

Don't blame me for your inability to express yourself clearly and intelligently.

Wow. That really sucked a lot more than I thought it would. Isn't Obama supposed to be a great orator?

Seriously, I could feel the partisan rays eminating from my T.V. He must have blamed Bush for something on 5 different occasions.

McDonnell's response was meh. Multiculti Brigade in the background was... interesting.

I never expected an objective opinion from you.

You're a conservative. Why would I think you would have any other opinion than the one you stated in your first sentence.
