Wall mart to cut 11,000 Jobs

So, welfare should be discontinued.

It won't happen and you know it. Just be grateful that more companies aren't like Walmart or you'd be spending even more of your tax dollars for welfare.

It's a great system that we have.

Many of them make up for a low wage by supplementing it with welfare. So it works out in the end for these workers.

Your tax dollars hard at work to help subsidize Walmart's bottom line
that is exactly right. when walmart hires, they provide a list of gov't resources to their employees, specifically for insurance.

Not everyone in and around the Puget Sound works at Boeing my friend.

Not any more, but they sure got a lot of tax breaks & still moved to Chicago, & are building a second line in South Cacalackey.......;)

Soon, all of Boeing's facilities in Washington will be museums

You mean like Boeing?......

Yep as well as Oil Corps...seriously though, no set up for a slap...If a company makes a profit there should be no subsidy..

What are you talking about, Boeing Field & Paine field are both public airports......
Boeing Field is technically Coo.... uh..... King County Airport......;)

Many big businesses actually find other states more attractive than WA. Washington has become regulation happy. The price of real estate in the Puget Sound is still out of sight and the states budget in in shambles thanks to a tax and spend governor.

That's why it is called 'Libtardistan'......:doh
Libs & treehuggers pandering to every minority & ne'er do well hasn't helped either......
Actually, our budget problems stem from reduced revenue from sales receipts.....
Wa doesn't have an income tax.....
When times were good the Dems here spent like.....Obama is now.....

It's a lot of fun being here right now with Superbowl and Mardi Gras. Nothing like this has ever happened here. It's huge!

Yeah, I know. My daughter and most of my in-laws live right down the road from you, on the Mississippi coast and they're all big Saints fans and excited as hell. When I was there during the holidays the daughter bought me a nice white cap with the fleur-de-lis on it and extracted from me a promise that when I wear a cap, I would wear this one until the Saints lost. Still wearing it...LOL. I also have an old Air Force buddy who lives in Harvey and he's quite beside himself.

Laissez les bons temps rouler

That's funny why?.....

Because Boeing is slowly moving out of the area to cheaper pastures. Soon, all that'll be left there will be a few small plants manufacturing parts for assembly lines located in other states.

Notice that Seattle or Washington is not even mentioned on Boeing's "about us" page, while Chicago is mentioned twice:
