President Obama will appear with politically embattled Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) in Las Vegas next month, according to a White House official.

While it is not clear whether the appearance will be overtly political, any appearance by the president in Reid's home state is likely to be seen as an effort to buck up Reid's re-election effort.

This is good news.... so far everyone that Barry has campaigned for has lost, it's the kiss of death.
 
We all know how that worked out last time Obama campaigned for somebody. LOL.
 
ah yes. i'm sure if there is one thing nevadans want to hear about, it's how their senator is key in getting obama's agenda passed.

Harry has to be wondering which is worse, having Obama campaign for him, or a shotgun enema.

Whether or not Obama campaigns for Reid (and loses) is of little concern. If Jesus Christ came down from his Golden Cloud and told Nevada "Thou shalt vote Reid," Reid would still lose.

Seeing as Reid has literally no chance at all of winning, this is a really dumb move. It would have been smarter to wait for Reid to announce his retirement - which he will very likely do - and then endorse whatever other Democrat emerges in the race (even though they will still lose; at least they have a better chance than Reid).
 
Throw every incumbant who is up for election out on their a$$es.
 
As a liberal, I would be happy to see Reid go. Hopefully to be replaced by someone with a spine.
 
Reid's probably saying, "Awwww, you don't have to do that. Just let me handle it...please?"...:rofl

Well, luckily for you guys you no longer have this healthcare bill to worry about. That might help. I'd also suggest you guys shelve cap and trade too. And about having the EPA to treat co2 as a pollutant.....;)

Your right - it actually shows how they completely shut out what's going on with the electorate. Remember Reid thought they smelled. :2razz: I want him to go down hard. He is oblivious to the point of senility. I think they all are, even the younger ones, you know, senile, short-term memory loss. They still do not and refuse to get it!:rofl
 
I've heard Reid won't run anyway because he doesn't want to contaminate his son's bid for governor.

Obama still believes all he has to do is read a teleprompter or speechify. He's been given everything he ever had based on informal affirmative action and a silver tongue. And despite getting the smack down on his signature piece of legislation even though he owned all three branches of government he still thinks all he has to do is give more speeches. :lamo
