Don't know the author, but I received this via e-mail. I agree.

    Haiti is without a government.

To help out, I am donating
    one Obama
    one Biden,
    one Pelosi
    one Reid,
    one Frank
    one Coakley
    two Clintons

    They may keep them permanently!!

I'd give them a constitution; but I can't find mine right now!!

Haiti is different, they didn't get hurt because of their own stupidity such as New Orleans( build a city below sea level and it will flood in time). A earthquake can happen anywhere ant anytime, plates or no plates. This wasn't a case of them being invaded and bombed because of their actions eother. That said yes, American corps will find a way to profit from this. The rebuilding for example but...i seriously doubt to many Haitians will complain in this case. I am not a huge fan of the First Family but don't see this as a racist thing.

Well, at least this is going smoother than NOLA. What pisses me off about Katrina is all the fingerpointing Dems and Reps were doing in the wake of it. Meanwhile, people died. Yea, the Governor screwed up. So did Bush. There is plenty of blame to go around in both parties. At least, on this one, I am glad to see both parties pretty much pulling together to help out. Sometimes, even in the worst of circumstances, our Congresscritters are able to learn from past mistakes (Katrina) and put the bickering behind them and do something good (Haiti).

NOTE: Congresscritters are much like any other animal. After so many tries, they can actually be trained. Doesn't make them smart, though, just trainable (sometimes).

The complaing seems to be centered around:

Should you support what you categorize as good behavior done for reasons you disagree with?

Which is similar to the phrase "Cut off your nose to spite your face".

Who cares if Anderson's ratings went up by him helping? Emotional people who are incapable of making good choices? Leaders do all sorts of things to set an example, that they believe will further their interest. Who cares, if the interest is good, it's good, if not, it's not.

If you like the Lee Greenwood song, "Proud to be an American" you are a conservative. If you hate it you are a liberal..

    That's the test.
