Sarah Palin Can't Name A Founding Father

Has anyone else noticed that "All of 'em" is Sarah's stock answer for those famous "gotcha" questions, like what newspapers do you read?

:rofl

Yeesh. That's the kind of response an uninformed 3rd grader would give when asked what countries fought in World War II.

"Ummm... all of 'em?" :doh

So, does anybody here actually, truly believe that Sarah Palin doesn't know about any founding fathers? Because that would speak a lot more of the intelligence of the person who believes that than the intelligence of Palin herself.

Kind of like the "Africa is a country" hoax.

I don't see many claiming she is irrelevant. Stupid, yes. Corrupt, yes. A poor speaker, yes. A quitter, yes. A hopeful for 2012, yes. Irrelevant, not so much.

You see threads about her since she is an easy conservative to make fun of and score points off of.

If that's the only reason why she's relevant, then she's just as relevant as Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly. Who are not relevant at all.

That liberals keep bringing her up implies one of two things:
1. They are scared of her (as in, scared that she might become President or something)
2. They can't find a more relevant target

She is certainly as or more relevant than Beck or O'Reilly.

I gave you the reason why liberals start threads on her...she is an easy target. She has name recognition that most republicans do not have, and is making it a point to be in the news, and provides us with a ton of ammunition. You can try and spin it how you want, but that is the long and the short of it.

Sarah Baracuda, who can't tell you what she reads or name a founding father and faked her pregnancy, is relevant because she is dangerous. Imagine her as POTUS or VP. Scary. Imagine her negotiating with the leaders of N Korea, China, Iran, Venezuala (sp?). They'd listen to her for 5 minutes and determine that if America is stupid enough to elect an idiot like her then we are probably weak enough to be invaded ourselves.

THAT is why she is relevant.

And I say anyone promoting her, supporting her and voting for her does not have the good of the country in mind.

Faked her pregnancy? Oh, you're one of those.

Okay, then:

Obama was born in Kenya. Did you know that? :2wave:

Problem is the "Africa is a country" hoax and this edited video are no different in scope than her real actions, such as not being able to name a newspaper she reads or claiming that seeing Russia from parts of Alaska gives her a leg up on foreign affairs. There's no difference whatsoever between truth and satire. This is most likely a vexing problem for comedians because satire is supposed to be more ridiculous than truth.

One of what? Apparently another stupid story I missed.

Edit: looked it up, and yeah, that is a really stupid accusation, right up there with birther and truther crap.

Trig Palin is actually Bristol's baby, but they pretended it was Sarah's to keep the incident hidden.

Sounds like a goddamn sitcom setup. And every bit as ridiculous as "Obama is a Muslim who was born in Kenya".

Very different, actually.

such as not being able to name a newspaper she reads

I do not read newspapers or magazines, and yet am probably one of the more informed people in the country.

Are you seriously trying to claim that any of this is on the same scope as thinking that Africa is a country? Because you must be trying really hard to make yourself believe that if you actually do.

Sorry, that must be terribly frustrating to someone who is "one of the more informed people in the country."

This reminds me of Obama saying he's been to all 57 states.

Who are these people? LOL

That depends. Do you feel that people who don't believe in Creationism should just stop arguing against it every time the debate comes up to teach it in our schools?

And who brought Palin up here?

No, he said he had been to 57 states with one to go.

And this is relevant how? I swear I heard her talk about George Washington, so I don't get the thread title?

Right, but (and I'm not trying to be rude) yours was 7 minutes long. I posted for the sake of brevity.

Yeah, it was pretty short. Thanks then for posting the interview.

double post

And who brought Palin up here?

Palin is brought forth by herself and is helped in her notoriety by those who support her, so it's completely irrelevant who brought her up in an internet debate forum. For better or worse, she's a consequential political force (to whatever point you may agree) and ignoring her would be as beneficial to Democrats as ignoring Creationists would be beneficial to those who want science classes restricted to science curriculums.

So if the left continues to bring up Palin over and over again, it's to illustrate how unqualified she is to be holding any significant amount of power.

The left also brings her up repeatedly because, let's be honest, it's a whole lot of fun.

Sarah Palin Can't Name A Founding Father
Based on your thread title I would say you have less intelligence than Palin for believing that she "can't" name one of the Framers.

Hell, I bet you believe that youtube clip wasn't edited to make something out of nothing so a hack comedian can try and keep his job. :lamo

What has become clear is that those that like to rip on Palin as a moron are even less intelligent than she is for believing all the nonsense her political opponents say about her.:lamo

Sorry. I just see that as weak and as similar behavior to what some liberals claim conservatives do. I find it hypocritical, but whatever floats everyone's boat.
