Sarah Palin to Contribute to Fox News

Joe the Plumber
Palin the Dumber

"Tonight on - Dumber and Plumber" Russia, can it be seen from outter space or just my old house?

LOL ..I love it ..Palin the Dumber

It's fun to count how many times the cons will say this on a Palin thread. Just an simple way to dismiss the discussion without addressing a single point. Laughable.
You're only saying this because of your fear to the way she answers such gotcha questions such as "what do you read"

Great deal for Fox News and Murdoch. Maybe this will be good for Palin, depending on her own private aspirations.

Personally, unless she talks about local and state government operations (she has served the public, after all), I have little interest in her contributions because I think they will tend to contribute incoherent rambling, and most news viewers snore at the thought of local-state-national government interactions. The news viewers will want whining and complaining, because that is what sells, and because of that, I think whatever political science use she has goes bye-bye. Liberals will complain about her contributions, but frankly, most liberal news contributors for the 24 hour networks are blowhards as well. That is just what sells for the public: whining and complaining. Doesn't matter what political leaning you have. Most people just don't like a political science workshop.

I still don't get how there are Republicans who can say with a straight face that anybody of any political ideology left of center is afraid of this woman. She has gone from being a sensation to trying to stay relevant. Kind of sad. But whatever. I wish her luck on FOX News.

But isn't it possible for there to be many on the left who believe Palin could muster enough support to ascend to high office? Even I, a registered Republican, can see the possibilities.

The woman is obviously not knowledgeable enough to most of our liking (I am a Romney man). But the fact is she is not the idiot some claim. She is an average person who was able to perform as a mayor and govenor. And the very sad fact is, President Obama is proving more and more every day that high eduacation and eloquent grammar do not guarantee the ability to successfully run a nation. Obviously there are more common people who could do a better job.

We have far greater problems than Sarah Palin.

I would not characterize her as stupid. After all, she is remarkably good at making herself a celebrity and extending her 15 minutes of fame well past its natural lifespan.

The problem with Sarah is she is also remarkably ignorant. Her command of history, economics, current events and political science has to be among the weakest of any candidate for higher public office in the last 100 years. It is just down right scary that anyone with half a brain takes her seriously. Ignorance should absolutely disqualify you from a nomination of either party. I guess that is the purpose of Iowa. The voting electorate there seems to be smart enough to bury the fools in the early primaries. Hopefully they do their good deeds here, should she be foolish enough to run.

Then, she is arrogant. Granted this is more of personal judgment than conventional wisdom (see ignorance), but the tenor of her book and book tour just painted her as someone that believes she is right while the rest of the world is wrong.

Arrogance with Ignorance is nothing less than a lethal combination. We just finished with a president that owned these unique attributes. We are left with multiple wars, huge deficits and systemic meltdown of our economy, the combination of which have gravely weakened America. You may have voted for the last guy, maybe even liked his policies and his team, but I doubt very many would consider the results an effective presidency. You would have to attribute much of his failures to his arrogance/ignorance..... Yet, to me, he had a command of issues that Sarah could only aspire to....
Mischaracterize much?

Mischaracterize much?

Most of what seems to get candidates into office these days is charisma and who can run the best PR campaign. From a policy perspective Palin doesn't know very much. Maybe she has brushed up a bit since she became the VP nominee, but I doubt it. My critique of her isn't based on fear but the reality that she is not the best candidate for POTUS.

If people would stop voting based on partisan lines and based on charisma, better candidates would get into congress. Supporting her just because she annoys your rivals is not very smart.

Hopefully this won't dim down the ratings of Comedy Central and other comedy networks.

How come you lefties know so much about Fox? You all must watch it...That is why their ratings are so high and they kill those left wing networks MSNBC and CNN.....I love it........

I watch it regularly along with MSNBC and CNN and countless sources online.

Do you only get your news from a single source?

I'll pop on any one of them when there is a commercial on the Science Channel.During the day I watch CNBC.

I watch the News Mix channel on DirectTV. It lists 8 stations at once and you just rollover the one you want to listen to at that moment.

The left's fear of Palin is overwhelming.

They have no clue in how to react to a very conservative woman.....all they can do is insult her and her family...his lady can take it.....she is tough and as far as goes the sky is the limit..........You watch her programs on Fox will set ratings records.......

Maybe maybe not and if so can she pay the light bill? It seems advertisers are fleeing Fox News these days.

I am sorry I can't watch MSNBC...I tried but when Matthews said that when Obama speaks he gets a tingling down his leg...That did it for me....I watch CNN occasionally..

You do know that a blog is not a credible link right?

So it's OK to hate MSNBC for Matthews but not Fox for Beck???

So it's OK to hate MSNBC for Matthews but not Fox for Beck???

Who is talking about hate..........When a personality makes a comment like that to me his creditability is zero and judging by the ratings I think a lot of people feel the same way........One more thing, Fox could never have the high rating without the help of a lot of liberals watching their shows.........
