If people would stop voting based on partisan lines and based on charisma, better candidates would get into congress. Supporting her just because she annoys your rivals is not very smart.
I think most people were voting for McCain not Palin...The reason I would vote for Palin if she were a candidate for office is I like her politics...........

First of all Beck is only one show and he does kick the ass of shows in the same time slot, as well as Oreilly and Hannity doing the same........I would think that any advertiser to have his product pushed on their shows........Why advertise on a show on MSNBC when no one is watching it?

So it's OK to hate MSNBC for Matthews but not Fox for Beck???

Who is talking about hate..........When a personality makes a comment like that to me his creditability is zero and judging by the ratings I think a lot of people feel the same way........One more thing, Fox could never have the high rating without the help of a lot of liberals watching their shows.........

I don't know, I change the channel until the commercial is over......

Now tell me why would a company advertise on MSNBC when no one is watching that channel and he can get much more visibility on Fox?

Re: Sarah Palin to Contribute to Fox News

If Fox has ratings, then advertizers will buy time on the network.

Are you all suggesting that various points of view should be suppressed in the mass media? That's what I'm hearing here, that Fox is such a dangerous apostate network, that advertisers should not give them their business.

And you accuse the right wing of wanting to suppress rights and freedom of expression?

Advertising depends on a lot of things. One of the main ones is the demographics of the viewer. Advertisers generally want the 18-49 year old crowd. I suspect that Fauxnews probably does not do well in the demographic group.
Also the area of the country is also controlling. Again, I suspect that most FauxNews viewers come from the more sparsely populated red states.
The larger cities where more commerce is conducted are generally more democratic and thus probably more appealing to advertisers.

I'm certain that Life Insurance, Viagra, hearing aids, etc...probably sell very well for the Fox Advertiser.
