Pro-Life Advocates Plan to Protest Opening of Largest Abortion Clinic in U.S

One way to solve this argument is to make abortion legal with one stipulation. Once the fetus or baby is delivered, hand the mother the ice pick and instruct her to drive it through in a upward motion into the brain and give it a twist and with the fetus a good jab into the heart.

Considering that there are tens of thousands of couples incapable of having children, perhaps I should and open a adoption agency, probably make a better living than I am now;)

My brothers, who tends to be conservative, has only actively gotten involved in one "political" activity outside of voting, and that was escorting women into an abortion clinic that was being protested. He knew some one who had to go there and arrived during a protest, and was so savagely abused verbally that she was just in tears. Brother heard about that, and for a couple years was a regular on protest days there.

I'm going to guess that it will, like other Planned Parenthood clinics, be a women's health facility that, as part of its many services, provides abortions.

But, you don't have to take my word for it. I have an email in to Planned Parenthood asking what they project the usages of the facility will be. If I don't hear back by Tuesday, I'll get their press office on the phone.

I also call shenanigans on the article in the OP saying that PP did not respond. During a (brief) stint as a journalist, I contacted Planned Parenthood many times, and never had to wait more than 24 hours for a call back with the information I requested. Ditto NARAL, who CNS could also have called. The "could not be reached for comment" crap is designed to be hostile. The way I was taught, if you can't reach a source, you just leave that out.

As is mentioned earlier in the thread, the building is not going to be used for just abortions, and this was admitted by a protester at the protest a year ago in an article I found.

Oh, I'm sure of that. I contacted PP to get their projections of usage, by percentage, so I can bring some hard facts.

It bothers me to see Planned Parenthood characterized as an abortion group. Since their inception, their cause has been access to contraception and improved women's health.

As long as they don't start shooting doctors, as a few of them have done, they can protest all they want to. But the minute they start doing damage or harassing those who go there, they should go to jail. And if they shoot a doctor, nurse, or patient, or bomb the clinic, then they should be put on trial as terrorists, and the trial should be nationally televised, so that Americans can see what they really are.

Why doesn't the pro-life crowd denounce this form of terrorism? Is it that they don't value the lives of the doctors, nurses or patients who are the victims of this violence?

Are fetuses their selective concern over adult human beings?

Agreed, I think though the doctors that perform elective 3rd erm abortions should be held to the same standard.

Yes, Danareah's position was quite clear, Which i why I agreed. They that vandalize, kill, injure, terrorize should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law...

I can agree with that, with one exception. After all, they had 2 trimesters already to make their decision. If they are that indecisive, and the third trimester arrives, they should carry to term and have the baby, except if a situation arises where the mother's life is threatened. In that case only, abortion in the third trimester would be OK with me.

I would compromise at 8 weeks, very very reluctantly......



Of course physical medical neccesity of the mother trumps the infant in utero.....

Nonetheless, Abby Johnson seems to have found out the hard way what is really more important; saving the innocent rather than using abortion to bankroll a reproductive rights organization



I think we all one day will become abby Johnson and recoil in horror over this holocost.

Then I would ask why a women who gets a abortion, essentially hires a assassin to kill her own child..a cowardly act. The only thing worse than a murder is to hire some callous third party to do ones bidding for hire.
