Pro-Life Advocates Plan to Protest Opening of Largest Abortion Clinic in U.S

You attacked the article, and the source, for not writing it the way you wanted. You called it "biased" and added nothing else...

An abortion mill has opened, with a whole wing designated for late term savegry..... Perhaps we can discuss that instead of you calling the article biased and adding nothing else.

So why not have a comment from Planned Parenthood?

I have to agree with Redress. Until I see something with a little less bias and a little more balance on the issue, I am going to reserve my judgment.

funny, I thought it was about group protesting an abortion clinic....

But why not actually get Planned Parenthood comments? It's their building being protested, you would think they would talk to them?

uhm ok....

So in that other thread about troops and all that, I didn't see where they asked the americans about the killings....

why no derailing commentary there?

If you're referring to my thread then you didn't read the article because they did ask and their responses were included in the article:

Western military sources said that the dead were all part of an Afghan terrorist cell responsible for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which have claimed the lives of countless soldiers and civilians.

“This was a joint operation that was conducted against an IED cell that Afghan and US officials had been developing information against for some time,” said a senior Nato insider. But he admitted that “the facts about what actually went down are in dispute”.

So why not have a comment from Planned Parenthood?

I dunno, I didn't write the article... ;)

What's balance?

btw from the article:

Last month, Houston elected the first lesbian, Annise Parker, to hold the mayoral office in a major U.S. city. Until her inauguration this week, the director of Health and Environmental Policy for the mayor’s office was Elena Marks, chairwoman of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Attempts to reach Marks for comment on the clinic and the planned rally were unsuccessful

they tried.

Fact a giant late term abortion mill has opened.

The Blog Post doesn't offer any FACTS that it will be a late-term only clinic. So, let's stick with facts, Rev, shall we?;)

That being said, how many local churches and charities offer adoption services and free doctors visits for girls who might want to carry to term? Underage girls who are on the fence about abortion need somewhere to go, especially if their families have turned their back on them.

How many wealthy couples in Dallas who couldn't conceive looked to foster homes for a child? Or did they go to Russia to find a perfect white baby? Just sayin'...

I was a foster parent and have an adopted son. I support a Catholic charity the facilitates adoptions. Abortion is a private sadness, the ending of a human life or potential life.

However, the far-right pro-lifers who scream "baby killer" and use graphic posters to communicate their message are only pushing scared and confused girls and women away from making an informed and healthy choice. Not to mention, a legal choice.

Slightly different situation, and remember, I called your source there "loony", and used the phrase "if this is true", and expressed doubt.

Here is a slightly better article on the protest from a year ago: Opposing Views: NEWS: Pastors Protest at 'World's Largest Abortion Clinic'

Melchor acknowledged that the entire 78,000 square foot facility would be used for other health-care purposes but added, "Planned Parenthood is all about abortions."

Notice this key detail is not even in your article. Still looking for more information.

Your compaints are deemed invalid. ;)

Then I would say that the article was not ready for publication as they did not have all the necessary input to legitimately make the claims they have.

they tried.

That is one of those cop op phrases. Tried? How? Call her office once and not call again? Did any one actually go to the PP office and ask questions? Somehow I doubt it.

where did I or the article state thats all they did.

Irrellevant

You are right, better to kill childeren then care for em....Off topic.

Uhm loony commentary of no basis.

we call that "murder" and "manslaughter"

But kudos to you adopting, and all that.

It was once "legal" to own a black man.

so you are speculating because you don't like the topic. Noted/.

They have every right to protest, this is America, after all.

I like this paragraph:

Last month, Houston elected the first lesbian, Annise Parker, to hold the mayoral office in a major U.S. city. Until her inauguration this week, the director of Health and Environmental Policy for the mayor’s office was Elena Marks, chairwoman of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America

Lions, and tigers, and lesbians, OH MY! Houston is going to hell in a handbasket.

The article is biased. So what?

The point was that the Rev was "sickened" by something he did not have all the facts for. Notice that he did not respond when I gave additional details about the building.

He should get his H1N1 shot. We don't want our dear rev to get sick. Although, it's entirely likely that he'll infect the H1N1, rather than the other way around.

Yeah, I found that amusing too. Why even bring up the lesbian mayor when it had exactly zero to do with the story?

Everyone is mentioning the chick likes chicks..... I don't see why we hold this cns to a different standard.
