Dems not worried about post-vote backlash at home

For this to transcend into everyday non-computer life we simply need technology to take over the boring aspects of life, which they have been accomplishing. Its only a matter of time before so much of the doldrumatic parts of life are taken over and humanity would be left to do what it pleases

You cannot prove that property exists. You can prove that you use something, but to say that its yours is laughable. Capitalist philosophy is nothing but rhetoric to achieve a miserable goal.

Enter my home, (my property) and I will shoot you.... legally.

Steal my truck, (my property) and you will go to jail if caught.

Same for if you enter my home, (my property) and steal my TV. (my property)

Where you commies get your weird ideas is totally beyond me, but it would be best if you didn't try to apply them to real life..... life will get real for you, real fast.

So what you're saying is, it is your property because you have the force, or access to force, to defend your property. Am I right?

That's how it works with most animals; I don't see why humans would be different.
 
even more fundamentally; our other freedoms derive from property rights because first and foremost, we own ourself. you're body is your primary property, and within limits you have the right to do with it what you wish. the "property doesn't exist" argument is really a "Freedom Doesn't Exist Because You Are All Slaves" argument.

Do you really think that 11 months from now, 12 senators who supported this will be out a job over this? The economy is going to be the big determinant to who people vote for in 2010. If the economy is improved significantly, dems will do well, it not, then dems won't do well. Health care is not going to be the big issue people vote on.
