    Who specifically?

Conservative base is twice as big? Where are you getting this from, sparky?

if president obama were really interested in pre existing conditions he coulda won it as a stand-alone with near unanimous bipartisan support

had he simply desired to expand coverage, there were many, many ways he could have accomplished this with 70 votes in the senate

but, no, he had to do it all

    well, he got it, congrats

(except for the public option, which he didn't get, did he?)

trouble is this bill will kill the economy, and in their guts, at least, everyone knows it

it burdens states with 200B, unbacked

it forces individuals to go out and spend on aetna, not cheap

    it taxes businesses and industries

    it taxes PAYROLL

it massively cuts medicare and medicaid, already severely strained

most of its benefits don't begin til 2014

    etc

    live it, love it

    it's YOURS!

do you know what this bill is gonna do to MEDICAID, specifically?

expand MEDICAID by 10 mil with no federal backing?

    say goodbye, CA

    and that aint spin

***** Quite possibly Obama is not worried. California barring something really out of Left Field will always go Democratic and that's 55 Right There - DC & Vermont 3 more. He got 98% of the Black Vote in 2008 so how far can it drop - even if things go really bad - maybe 93%

***** Even Texas will tilt away eventually and NO. Carolina & Georgia due to an influx there might be gone. Throw in NY, Massachusetts for sure just about - Hawaii,Washington pretty solid.

**** If he loses it won't be by much and in 2016 he will be only 55.

Fair enough, though I'd question how these numbers translate into actual beliefs, since the name "liberal" has suffered a bad smear campaign for the last few decades.

No, Liberal Ideas smear themselves in real life implementation.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.
