That wasn't a personal attack. Just a possibility.

I've already explained to you why I think they're wrong.
No you didn't. Show me which message.

I asked an honest question: what grade are you in?

Either tell me why I'm wrong, or stop pretending like you're a serious debater and wasting everyone's time.

Again, you are no libertarian, please remove this absurd suggestion from your bio!

I also said no to NCLB, I said no to the homeland security creation, and I also said no to the medicare part D, and pleaded that this was a complete disaster, I also called GWB the worst president since Wilson.

The question is, where are you today?
I appreciate your honesty, and will take it as such.

As far as my political position is concerned, my libertarianism primarily stems from social issues while my stance on fiscal and monetary policy leads me straight to the middle. Also, i oppose expansionist military policy (nation building).
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

I can usually agree with the libertarian party on most issues except the economy as well. There is really no party that is for those split between the libertarian party and the democratic party, which is where I end up.

Sure, normally most of what government does isn't creating wealth, but it certainly can. And stimulus spending is one of those ways.

The stimulus is pumping spending into the economy. It doesn't matter whether that spending comes from the gub'mint or the private sector. A dollar is a dollar. Spending money on private sector activities - contracts with private construction firms to build roads, for instance - creates wealth just as much as a private firm contracting with another to build something would.

You guys spew alot of lame platitudes you learned on other boards, but you never think them through or explain them.

You need to have money to spend money.

How is moving and reallocating money "creating wealth"?

Unless collecting taxes is "generating wealth"...

Because the only source of revenue has, is taxes. The governmen doesn't make money. Government can only collect taxes. You can create wealth with tax money. All you're doing is re-cycling money.

    They're spending money.

Maybe someone else will put some effort into an answer.
