President Obama told me to stop ?demeaning? him, says Rep. Conyers - TheHill.com

I read this article, funny is hardly a way to describe it.
From the moment a President is elected there are any number of people demeaning him, his efforts.
This is normal, it is something we the electorate expect and to some extent it shews that we still retain some form of freedom of speech.

Take the time to read the article.

Interesting, a true lefty leftist doesn't like what Obama is doing because he's not getting a socialist healthcare program passed, or acting like a pacifist.

This is a serious list of charges by Conyers for various reasons. The primary is one of the President's early supporters has definitely turned on him - and viciously. Another is that the President feels that he can ask people to be nice to him - pretty unrealistic world view there.

But the main point that Conyers raises is very valid. The Democrats have the power at this point to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that they have been promising everyone they would do if they had this kind of power. All of their supporters are now expecting some pay back and what have the Democrats delivered on? Just about nothing.

On the other hand, look what George W. Bush was able to deliver to his supporters in the first year of his presidency with much less power. Republicans have proven to be much better for their supporters than the Democrats. Which increases the ability of Republicans to bring in more supporters because they help share the wealth better.

Of course, both the Democrats and the Republicans are actually sharing out our wealth and future, but hey, we elected them to do exactly that! Its past time for another party to step up and start a more centrist and balanced agenda with something like reducing the debt by cutting the pork.

It takes an old codger like that to speak his mind. He really outed Obama on his need to grow a pair.:2razz:
