It's not "the Italians" who are railroading her. It's the lead prosecutor who is currently under indictment for abuse of office.

she lied multiple times, and there was physical evidence. you and i won't ever agree on this.

We won't agree on this because you are too stubborn - or lazy - to actually conduct a thorough and objective analysis of the case. There isn't any conclusive physical evidence that implicates Amanda Knox in the murder, none. Your opinion does not change this.

Also, you didn't answer my question (no surprise there).

Is it a lie when someone coerces you into saying it?

also, why wouldn't a jury see things the way you do? are they all stupid, or is it possible they had access to more evidence than you?

when her boyfriend said he was on his computer, but the facts show he wasn't, do you still believe him?

she not only lied, she lied multiple times. and i have to ask this as well, why, as she claims, would the police force to to lie about kercher being raped, when the evidence would obviously show the truth?

Too add to that he could not remember if knox spent the whole night at his flat, or just part of it.

The little forensic evidence they had is highly questionable and cannot be tested again. All of it was destroyed the first time around. Furthermore, I read the DNA found on the knife was not even blood. Everything else was based on circumstantial evidence, character assassination and the fanciful ramblings of an insane prosecutor. I can't believe that man was allowed to prosecute anyone given the charges he himself is facing. There are a lot of details in this case that stink to high heaven.

It wasn't, and the amount of DNA they "found" was less than 100 picograms, a picogram being a trillionth of a gram. It was almost certainly the result of cross-contamination.

You didn't answer my question. Do you have some statistics that show that guilty people do cartwheels at the police station more often than innocent people do, or are you just assuming that unusual behavior indicates guilt?

Her "lies"? You mean falsely accusing her boss? As has already been mentioned several times, the POLICE came up with that theory and thrust it upon her during her 14 hour interrogation. Eventually she caved and told them what they wanted to hear, just as many people would.

Hopefully she can sign a Big Bucks Book deal so her parents who went almost bankrupt supporting their daughter can get back some of what was taken from them. As someone who has worked in the American legal system for 27 years now and who has been-at some times-a prosecutor-I have seen problems in our system but I am here to say that our system is far better than the crap that was displayed in Italy. The stuff that went on there was an absolute abomination and I suspect Italy is way above many other countries

Our system isn't perfect but trust me, being a defendant in a Federal Court in the USA is far far better than most other countries

I read this prosecutor doesnt want to let it go and may retry her...gives me pause and make me wonder if this prosecutor knows something we all dont..
but it doesnt seem like any evidence is there...

sounds like the prick has a personal vendetta. seriously, someone ought to "make him go away"

(think of the bulletproof vest and the carp in "the Godfather") His behavior would have caused him to be disbarred and probably on the losing end of a civil rights suit here in the states. No motive, no physical evidence and the guy who most likely did it changed his story constantly.

He couldn't handle the fact he F'd up and got reversed. when a prosecutor starts taking stuff personally, its time for him to retire-or be retired
