Breaking: Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar” Is Promoting Child Porn in the Classroom

It is an excuse to indoctrinate kids in the homosexual agenda so society will accept their immoral lifestyle.
Prove that there is a homosexual agenda. Also, morality is relative, so your point is moot.

Just look at all the buttsex going on and tell me it's not a secret ploy by the Homosexuals for Outward Movement Organization. (HOMO)

It's all I had off the top of my head...

Depends on the context

Pornography n.
1: the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement
2: material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement
3: the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction

Exactly! So if they using it as a teaching aid and not to arouse or excite, then it's not pornography!

Excellent point ptif! You're a GENIUS!

The question is why were the books written? If they do excite students are they pornography?

Key word there is INTENDED. If they are written with the intention of teaching a lesson, then no it's not technically pornography. So says the dictionary. but I'm sure countless others will tell you that dictionaries are full of **** and in THEIR opinion it IS pornography, at which point they'll start yammering on about what THEY think is all important and then there's this faint scent of **** wafting about as they continue to open their mouths.

What lesson are they teaching? Playboy has good informative articles so I guess it is not pornography by your standard.

1. Playboy has pornography and informative literature. It is mixed media.

2. The Dictionary said that, I just regurgitated it and added some theatrics...

Spin it the way you want but these are not text books and not suitable for teaching material.

Spin it the way YOU want, but these are not text books to be discounted as pornography. I'd say that some of these would even be classified as bonerkillers and vag-dryers. Dry, boring, and with plot depth the likes of "See Jack Run" and "The Hungry Caterpillar", these books are no more dangerous to you than a spank on the bottom from Cap't Courtesy, and only half as erotic.

I said it before and I'll say it again: He was apparently American enough for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. So why are you still going on about this?

You sound like those people who never stopped whining about the 2000 election. Get over it.

Oops wrong thread. I seem to have had too many windows open. My bad...

This report is insane if it's true.

What I don't understand in the article to which the OP referred us, is the reference to children being corrupted by books with sexual references.

This is not reading matter recommended for children; this is reading matter intended for teens. Teens know about sperm and sex and all that stuff. It is a big part of adolescence.

We had sex education in my school not that long ago, and nobody went out and raped anyone because of that. Introducing teens to sexual concepts and practical information does not turn them into depraved sexual maniacs.

I'm sorry to say this, and it is only a subjective opinion, but it seems that religion is to blame for a lot of this hysteria. The taboo in society against teens having sex with each other is a totally illogical one. Of course kids must be instructed into precautions against STD and unwanted pregnancies, but given that, there should be no moral prohibitions about what a teen does with his/her body. Like it's no one else's business.

And as for the practitioners of religion occupying any moral high ground from which to preach about sexuality, I would suggest many a choir boy could provide evidence otherwise.

 on a similar note, there's a reason people tell dirty jokes and make naughty references to Preachers' daughters... Having gone to a Southern Baptist College, I've seen the stereotypes come true.

LOLZ! I never heard of that, but then I'm not even sure what a Southern Baptist is. We have only a few Christian religions (that I know of) in the UK. There's the Church of England, the Catholics, the Presbyterians, and that's about all I can think of. And just about nobody I know ever goes anywhere near a church. Your average Sunday congregation at the local C of E village church usually consists of three old ladies, and a stray dog that wandered in out of the rain.
