This is not Breaking News. We must have a "Insignificant ****" forum somewhere where we can put this in....

Thinking like the Chinese?
Think like ants? I saw the olympic opening ceremony, I know what's at stake.

So true, I feel sorry for Beck

Sorry it does have to do with a media persona, I am not sure, if this is the right forum.

Moderator's Warning:
Moved to 2.0, unsure if this is even worthy. We will see if discussion can be salvaged.

Rules indicate a few sentences for discussion, OP didn't have much to go with.

Try again RyrineaHaruno, give us something to run with.

What do you think about this video?

Are you saying that you agree with him often, but on this "specific topic" he is out of bounds?

Are you saying that the Chinese are bad people?

What do you mean by progressives fought against Nazism?

I am not trying to be personal nor call you out - just interested in your position. :)

Hi from North Texas btw. :2wave:

Now who takes you seriously?

As to the video, there is nothing here. What, might I ask, is so damning?

thank you.

I am a history nerd. No, I am not saying Cheesiness people are bad just the communism forum of the thing.

So the rules here are similar to the rules at PCF, a thread, a video, a something, must have a substantial opinion to be debated? Are links required like at PCF? Sorry ya'll, still learning the ropes here.

I am not sure, but I think Pcf links are required.

Unsure what PCF is, but adding commentary helps to spur the discussion. We are not an agreement forum, we are a discuss and debate forum. Agreement forums are no fun. :)

The rules in the news forums up here are different as links from mainstream are required. I moved the thread here in case something could be made from this thread somehow some news will spur. Still kinda lost. lol

China is an ancient culture. It's a common expression that the Chinese think in centuries. That's all Beck meant.

You people are desperate.

Thank you for clearing that up for me, I didn't know what he meant. I do hope that is what he meant thought.

The Chinese are more entrepreneurship-minded than America is under the Marxist Obama.

What is Marxism?

Marxism is the political philosophy and economic worldview based upon a materialist interpretation of history, a Marxist analysis of capitalism, a theory of social change, and an atheist view of human liberation derived from the work of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels; three primary aspects of Marxism are:
The dialectical and materialist concept of history — Humankind's history is fundamentally that of the struggle between social classes. The productive capacity of society is the foundation of society, and as this capacity increases over time the social relations of production, class relations, evolve through this struggle of the classes and pass through definite stages (primitive communism, slavery, feudalism, capitalism). The legal, political, ideological and other aspects (ex. art) of society are derived from these production relations as is the consciousness of the individuals of which the society is composed.
The critique of capitalism — In capitalist society, an economic minority (the bourgeoisie) dominate and exploit the working class (proletariat) majority. Marx uncovered the interworkings of capitalist exploitation, the specific way in which unpaid labor (surplus value) is extracted from the working class labor theory of value, extending and critiquing the work of earlier political economists value. Although the production process is socialized, ownership remains in the hand of the bourgeosie. This forms the fundamental contradiction of capitalist society. Without the elimination of the fetter of the private ownership of the means of production, human society is unable to achieve further development.
Advocacy of proletarian revolution — In order to overcome the fetters of private property the working class must seize political power internationally through a social revolution and expropriate the capitalist classes around the world and place the productive capacities of society into collective ownership. Upon this, material foundation classes would be abolished and the material basis for all forms of inequality between humankind would dissolve.

What has Obama done?

Nothing of the sort.

Hi from east Texas.

Oh, I see, I get what your saying.

Nah, if you watch beck's show at anytime, you'll find that the Chinese government is second in line to the Obama admin to receive his comical wrath. So, it's important to understand the context. Beck usually has good things to say about the chinese people, they save money and be entreprenuers, and actually have some pride in their country.

So...yea...for Glenn Beck to say that we ought to be statist-fascist in mindset, would be impossibly ironic.

Thank you, I'll try to watch his show more often now. I'll try to get his show on the internet. Thank you, for clarifying that for me ^^.

Yeah, it would be Ironic, if he was meant to say we should be a statist fascist mindset.

PCF is the abbreviation for another political forum on the internet, political crossfire. They demand a link and "substantial opinion" for every political thread started there or else a moderator will lock it.

Thanks for the explanation.

No we're saying they are commo's and we should be thinking the exact opposite of the Chinese.

Absolutely correct!!!

IF the Author of this thread had a single clue or had BOTHERED to or watch the speech (same for those responded on that line) then he simply wouldn't have wasted his time or credibility.. he probably picked it up from Keith Flogmybrid or some other richly ingenious progressive!

As it is he fell on his sword for naught.... credibility is a terrible thing to waste!

when Beck becomes president he will turn into an obedient puppy of the globalists just like Obama.

its easy to make promises. hard to keep them.
