She was armed with a mood disorder. There are plenty of those where people are uncontrollable or dangerous to themselves or to others.

Yeah, I saw. The sources for "expected injuries" came from police departments.

But besides the point. While tasers can be used to decrease fatalities with incidents with police, I'm not going to say that because you don't expect a huge impact or negative side effects on the adult population that you have excused yourself to taser unarmed little children.

I don't know why I bother responding to unreasonable people, but.. a taser sends electrical pulses that constrict muscle movement. Even if you want to fight it, you cannot. In this situation the fighting stopped and she was taken to a juvenile care facility. Everything turned out fine, and yet people like you still want to be outraged.

Perchance there is. But when it comes to the authority abusing their power and position, I think it's best to err on the side of caution.

Unreasonable people? Your trying to justify tazering a kid when the officer, being trained and an adult superceding her strength, could have restrained her without the gun.

I know damn well the outcome. The same could have been achieved without sending 50,000 volts ripping through the 10 year olds body. :2wave:

When it comes to justice hating fools who get outraged every time the police have to do something that doesn't look favorable and "cuddly" to idiots who, if they weren't acting ignorant wouldn't have met the police in the first place, I think its best to err on the side of justice and the law.

No, my last posts called into question your ability to reason. Armed with a mood disorder is hardly excuse to taser a small child. She wasn't armed with any weapon and claiming that because she was given to mood swings suggests that she was is STUPID. Don't like it, don't make stupid arguments.

I'll accept nothing less than a video of exactly what she was doing at the time this incident occurred.

Yes, in the history of mankind it has been demonstrated that at no point can an adult male restrain a 10 year old girl without the use of weapons or tasers.
