Dunno that either, maybe he got her calmed down and she agreed to go take a shower and go to bed and his term "carried" wasn't used in the same vernacular as "picked up and transported". This is the ozarks, I have no clue how they speak there. Maybe he DID carry (pick up) her to the shower hoping she could calm down, agree to take a shower and go to bed.and why was the cop carrying her to the shower?
The routine response to a call of this nature isn't to grab someone up and haul 'em off to a facility without trying to resolve the problem peacefully first, maybe the shower was a part of that attempt at resolving the problem rather than haulin' her off as soon as he walked in the door.
