Palin: Levi Johnston ‘Mean-Spirited,’ ‘Malicious,’ Selling ‘Body for Money’

It's a way of getting media attention. Tomorrow she will call a press conference to complain about the media attention on this.

True, plus I keep forgetting about her book coming out. Anything to keep her name out there. Any publicity is good publicity and she'll complain about the coverage which will make her a hero with her hardcore 20%.

Ugh. Get ready for the big book tour then.

I don't have the same level of hatred toward individual politicians inside me as some others, and rarely experience seething rage because of a politicians' actions, but Sarah Palin is the exception.

When she first came on the scene, although I recognized her being the V.P. pick a gimmick, I defended her.

It seemed like the media just immediately launched vicious attacks that were purely unprovoked - at least at that point.

But now, I really can't stand her. She is a caricature of American politicians. And she not only exploits any situation, personal or public, to keep herself in the spotlight, but she quit on the Alaskans who elected her to chase a pipe dream of becoming someone who's actually important on the national stage.

But on the other hand, I don't even think the Republicans would attempt to run her in 2012, because as much as Obama's wave of invincibility has crested, she would be no match.

You have to admit, watching Obama debate Palin would be like watching Einstein debate Paris Hilton.

Sarah Palin again demonstrates that she has ZERO common sense. This is an 18 year old kid, the father of her grandchild. And Palin comes across about as classy as the typical white trash Jerry Springer female. What exactly does Sarah Palin have to gain by attacking this "meaningless" boy?

Palin: Levi Johnston ?Mean-Spirited,? ?Malicious,? Selling ?Body for Money? - The Note
the hell? daddy against grandma?

****ed up family values, played out for the world to see.

If I were Sarah PalinbvI'd give Levi a choice to either shut the hell up or face a law suit for back and future child support and a charge of rape since he was 18 when he became the father of a child by a 17 year old mother. Depending on connect laws in Alaska that is.
The only reason the Obamedia promotes this BS and most likely is paying for it is they are trying to do anything they cam to huer Sarah Palin because the Dims (no spell error) fear her so much. It's all about the Dims doing what they accuse others of. That being the spreading of hate. It's amazing how lies, hate and smear tactics have become the hall mark of the Dims who clamor for equality, justice, fairness, equal rights, civil rights, right to life etc. but in practice don't live up to their own so-called standards at any turn.

Oh yeah, like that tactic would stand a snowball's chance in hell, after she spent months last year parading him around on national television introducing him as her future son-in-law.
Because we frequently hope that our children will marry rapists, of course.

I'm sure he already pays whatever child support- if any- is required of him; we would've heard about it already if he didn't.
I don't know what the couple's custody arrangement is, but they may have a joint custody arrangement where neither party pays the other anything; this is frequently the case when parents are both young, actively involved, and have equal earning potential, and when mom's family supports her.
Although it would be amusing to see Palin try to bring "a lawsuit for future child support".
Perhaps you should write her with your suggestion; it sounds like just the sort of thing she'd jump on.

I suspect that Johnston knows plenty; I further suspect that he is not ruthless or aggressive enough to exploit this situation to the fullest and tell all that he knows.

Palin seems to have a lot of trouble getting along with both her extended family members and her coworkers, I've noticed.
She doesn't seem to have any problem using her political clout to bulldoze adversaries when disagreements arise.
It will be interesting to see how she reacts now that that weapon has been taken away from her.

This situation is just a cluster****. He's attacking his baby's gramma, she's attacking a kid who's her grandbaby's daddy. It's not pretty.

Sounds like something for Jerry Springer ... not CNN

When it all boils down....they are both media whores. And those who "enjoy" this crap are no better.

The only difference is that I want to see the one involving Levi.

Those people who want to see and read about these unfortunates are not what I'd consider to be good neighbors, in fact they are no better, maybe even worse, as members of society.
Best to leave them be..

what in the world does sarah palin smearing levi johnston have to do with democrats? there would be no news if she had enough sense to keep her silly mouth shut. really, your post IS hyper-partisan, and i've never used that word before.......

At least Springer is open and honest about this crap. But CNN is no better....neither contribute one iota to improving society.

That is so wrong. CNN contributed to me laughing my ass off when this story aired. Anything that makes me laugh that hard can't be a bad thing. Haven't you ever read that laughter is the best medicine?

In sight of this whole Fox-bashing stent (considering that my channel of preference) I tried watching the opponents for a while and found CNN to be somewhat neutral on the issue ... they have a few flaws, but so do all other news-venues.

They're not bad, I consider them to be neutral ... they might have been partisan at one time and then balanced things out at some point, I don't know.

The other day they actually had a good report on the issue with the h1n1 innoculations and other stories that no other station has covered - like the problems with foreign exchange student programs and so on.

I still prefer Fox, but CNN seems quite palatable ... I don't know about their opinion-shows (every channel has them) but their news-casts are quite "newsy"

I wish Sarah Palin, Jon Gosselin and Octomom could get a show together.

They could solve mysteries.

Sarah and Octomoms kids could make occasional appearances as some kind of big A-Team, and every once in a while they could fight with Kates kids who would be evil!

I am starting to prefer Fox in that category, and I never thought I would say it.

Perhaps it is because I am a bit of a computer geek, but every time I see CNN proping up a blogger or talking about Facebook or Twitter, my head explodes with frustration. Bloggers are dumbasses, and the people on Facebook and Twitter are considerably worse than bloggers!

Recently I saw a shot that pissed me the crap off. They had 4 LCD displays and decided instead of doing an on-screen shot of the upcoming stories, it is a fantastic idea to instead take their cameras, and individually walk up to each freaking television screen to show you one of the upcoming stories, before moving on to the next television screen with again, one freaking story. :doh

LOL - ever station loves the twitter and blogger junk, I detest it as well but find it unavoidable.
Fox is a bit less in that regard, but it's still there.

It was CNN that started that crap a few years ago.

They had their media room asking what the latest blogger thought. I thought to myself: "who gives a flying *uck what some blogger thinks?!". Bloggers aren't journalists (and I have a fairly low opinion of journalists to begin with), they are a bunch of gossipers who love to have circle jerks with their networked blogger friends. They create a network of like-minded bloggers, prop them up all the damn time, link to each other on one podcast to another, and get down on their hands and knees and service each other at any given opportunity. There is no decency with these creeps.

CNN makes me cry.

:rofl They started it all! And it spread like wildfire and now everyone's opinions are facts.

And Twitter! Ever since it came out it had one purpose and one purpose only: Fan clubs! It's only made so someone popular, or someone who thinks they are popular (bloggers are fantastic candidates for ego maniacs) to have people follow them around. "Followers"? For Christ's sake, it was made for these media egotypes. And only occasionally would something interesting happen on there. For years, before the nitwits at CNN caught on to it, I knew what Twitter was...it was bullcrap, and always will be. Here's how bad it was: Technology journalists literally, I **** you not, had competitions to see who could get the most followers!

Web 2.0 can suck me dry. I hate it.

He made the comment in a television interview that Sarah Palin was never home with her kids, and Todd was always off snowmobiling. I suspect that's the truth.

Well if you go by the behavior patterns of her 'numba one' daughter I would believe the Levi kid...

Levi is just trying to retire...leave the kid alone.

How about a Sarah Palin/Carrie Prejean/Levi Johson three-way.

Sounds exciting.
They could take turns reciting bible verses at him.
