Obama suggests Fox News is like 'talk radio'

Not at all. Fauxnews is free to air all the garbage that they want. No one is trying to stop them.
What they are not free to do is air it without people exposing the propoganda.
If "no one" was trying to "stop them" as you say, then this thread would not exist now would it? Here let me help you DD, the "they" in question here is the White House. Nice try, no cigar for you though. Like I said, a perfectly constructed oxymoronic circle. :doh

Denying them a place in "the pool" is trying to stop them.

So under your rationale....the National Enquirer and all other tabloid garbage equivalent to Fauxnews should be invited?

BTW....never have watched Olberman....sorry.

Fox, while annoying on some issues, is not on th level of Enquirer or other trash tabloids.

Does that mean they should be denied the ability to cover the stories they cover? Should they, and the other media outlets, only cover the stories approved by the current administration? even those you approve of? How about those you don't approve of. Who decides?

Could you imagine the uproar from the lefties had Bush made even the slightest attempt to hush one of the liberal news networks?

You -clearly don't understand:
There are no liberal news networks; all news networks, except FNC, are fully impartial w/o any partisan lean whatsoever.

So, when olberman tells his audience that when "liberman whores himself out to the insurance industry" he's not being biased, he's just reporting the news. Right, now I get it. Olberman, maddow, and mathews straight "mainstream press; hannity, o'reilly, and beck hopelessly biased right wing hate mongers.
