This has to be the most appropriate thread title in a long time.

Nothing to contribute then? Just your own personal bias?

I think contributing my reasoned political opinions are a contribution. Based on their comments and beliefs, I would call both Bachmann and Paul among the top wingnuts in politics.

Except the difference being that Paul practices what he preaches while Bachmann is only squawking whats popular.

Yeah, I know. Obeying the Constitution and insistence on responsible government is certainly a "wingnut" position. Makes me worry about what's "standard".

I did not say they where identical, only that they are both wingnuts.

In terms of Ron Paul, I really think people should listen to what he says. People are willing to throw out the "nut" label quickly because of what he says. Some of what he advocates is not practical, but a lot of it has merit. Which is well more than the vast majority of politicians.
Oh, I listened to what he had to say, then I decided he was a nut. Is that acceptable?
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet the Makeout Hobo, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

If you don't mind being thought of as a person who doesn't give a squirt of piss about the Constitution, I suppose it is acceptible.

    Don't worry, you're not alone.
