The Sotomayor business didn't help either. Unfortunately, those who would be embarrassed by that crap in their party sit by and watch rather than call foul. At the expense of looking united, they allow the crazies to take control. Now, they will reap the consequences.
 
Yes, because the "republican base" is made up of white supremest.

I find the Sotomeyer issue to be quite funny, because she's hispanic, you had to vote for her... Yeah, that's not racist at all to think like that.

Nope, she was qualified. They didn't vote for her because she was Hispanic. Sorry, you lose in an epic, epic fail. I wonder why the only elected Hispanic Republican politician stepped down early after this ****..... hmmmm....

Alito was perfectly qualified, too, yet 42 Democrats voted against him. They must hate Italians.

I mean, it's the only possible explanation. He was QUALIFIED. Do you get it? He was QUALIFIED. So what other explanation could there ever be? :doh

It's shameful and truly embarrasing to ANY American who looks beyond the color lines and recognizes that the contributions of all of its citizen only strengthens this nation. Instead, we gotta put up with bozo's like those shown.

Truly shameful and disheartening.
