Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republican O

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

1.If it turns out that she had in fact paid her dues all along & is lying about not paying them, would that change your mind about her at all?

Yep, it'd change my opinion on her about whether or not she is being intentionally very dishonest and flat out lying. It would not change my opinion on whether or not she is an "Operative" like the story tries to imply without giving any facts to that matter.

2. Suppose she had her husband right the dues checks. Would that make her "I haven't paid my dues.." statement an attempt at deception?

Yep, it most certainly would. Though I'll need to go back in the thread and see what the hubub about the "I haven't paid my dues" line is coming from.

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

Wait hold on...

Did SHE say she hasn't paid her dues or is this something YOU'VE stated and are now representing as something she said? Because if its the later case then that changes my above answers because she can't be "lying" about something that YOU made the claim of.

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

Hey, random question, did you fully support America during the Iraq War or were you against the war and thus against America? You know, since its all or nothing for you.

To answer your question I would say I was against the Iraq War from the very beginning & thus FOR America.

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

No it doesn't.

It states she was actively involved with the republican party last year. Not currently.

It states she's a registered republican. I'd wager most of the people at the town hall are registered with a party. That does not mean they're "affiliated" with a party in the way its commonly used...IE working FOR that party.

And NO WHERE does it state that the GOP asked her, paid her, convinced her, or told her to go to the thing.

Sorry, you're making assumptions and you know what they say about those who make assumptions.

She held offices in the Republican party as vice president and secretary. I'd call that affiliation with the party rather strongly.

She says it. Watch the entire video again.

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

When most of us (on our side) are proven wrong, we are mature & honest enough to admit it. The fact that the other side is torturing logic & English in order to try to obscure the obvious, in this case, is silly & insulting......but it's the best thing that could ever happen to the future of the Democratic party.;)
I agree. Let them keep their lying operatives.

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

...wait, so there's NOT absolutes. Well I'll be damned. Who'd have thunk it. So why did you ask such a stupid question earlier? That seems rather silly of you.

Or wait, or are you saying that anyone that wasn't against the Iraq War WASN'T for America? Is that what you're saying? You've really confused me. I mean, it seems like you only believe anything can be absolutes and if not then it seems like you obtusely asked me an idiotic question that had no baring on anything other than to be obnoxious in attempting to "catch" me in something that doesn't even make sense.

Wow, so confusing. And you say you were an investigator? The more I read from you the more I find that complete and utter bull****.

“not affiliated with any political party.”

"she was not a member of the Republican Party"

I don't see "Never" in any of those statements of hers.

(Also, I can't access LinkedIn at work and I don't have an account there. Does anyone know if it lists "last updated" or anything like that. For example, I know plenty of people from College's facebook pages that still list them as a Sophmore taking 200 level classes while they're currently having finished their degree and been in the workforce for a year).

i also see no where from anything you've shown that she's an "operative" or a "plant" of the GOP. I see potential evidence that she was either somewhat dishonest to a flat out lier, but no ones shown an ounce of proof that she was told, instructed, or paid to go there specifically by the GOP and to lie about the fact if questioned about it.

Aww, that's funny, your method of doging your obvious hypocritical position you've backed yourself into is to act like I'm dodging when I'm addressing your point directly. That's really a cute little tactic there. Thanks for the laugh.

Also........Maybe she had her fingers crossed too! (then she wouldn't be lying either, right?)

Keep defending her. Keep going. It's hilarioius.

Keep supproting and making false accusations. Keep going. Its hilarioius.

Your gal was caught red handed. Her background is listed on her own web page.

She lied.

My gal? Please, show me where I've stated I have any connection or even affinity for this woman?

Second, you stated "She was a plant."

Show us proof she was a plant. You're not lying right? A plant is someone paid/told/forced/asked to be there in secret yes. Please, show proof that this happened. So far you've, at the very very most, proven she's a lier, but in doing so have also made an outlandish and exaggerated claim that so far you've provided zero evidence for.

I've already acknowledge the fact that she was being dishonest. Are you going to acknowledge that you are?

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

I'm a registered Democrat in this state, and worked on several Democratic campaigns over the course of my life. Does that make me a Democratic party "operative"? I was a registered Democrat in another state, and ran for political office as a democrat. Does that make me a democratic party "operative"?

You know what bothers me about this is the smear tactics to attempt to discredit someone for expressing an opinion that runs counter to the will of the administration. Why do you care what her background is? She expressed her opinion, the opinion of a single person. She wasn't speaking for hundreds or thousands of other people, she was speaking for herself, just aso others in that room were also speaking for themselves.

Did those who have gone after this woman personally, to the point of tracking down her personal website, do the same with others who attended the meeting, with whom they agreed?

Of course they didn't.

What has this woman done, aside from voicing a dissenting opinion in a townhall meeting, that warrants outing her personal information and subjecting her to this kind of scrutiny?

What about expressing an opinion terrifies you people so much? Do you see the actual ramifications of your behavior (silencing free speech)? Or is undermining such things fine with you as long as you get your way?
This is ugly.

She is 'your gal' because you are defending her even after her own website proves her close alliance with the GOP. Thank you for acknowledging that this woman was dishonest. That's the whole point.

She lied and she has been caught at it.

We don't know if she was a GOP plant, for sure. I think it's a fair inference given her dishonesty. Holding office is hardly a casual connection to the GOP.

We don't know if she was a plant, for certain. I think she was. It's a fair inference given her dishonesty.

Was she representing the Republican party in an official capacity at this event? Does she still serve in these positions?

Yeah. that's how you knew I posted in the thread.

Guess what? Ignoring works better if you actually do it.

Um, where've you been? From earlier in this thread

Was she being a bit dishonest? Yes. Was she lying? No. Do I condone her doing it? Absolutely not. Does her dishonesty equal what the story in the first post is trying to imply, that she's an "operative" for the Republican party? Absolutely not.

You're not getting me to admit anything I've not already said.

We don't know if she was a GOP plant, for sure. I think it's a fair inference given her dishonesty. Holding office is hardly a casual connection to the GOP.

Really? Then why did you say this?

She was a plant. I proved it by providing Heather Bliss own webpage. Her own words out herself.

Then why'd you say that? Were you being dishonest by stating you proved it while omitting the fact that you only reach that conclusion through assumptions based on nothing but your own opinion of her dishonesty?

Seems you two may be peas in a pod tactically.

She said she was just a housewife, and it turns out she is heavily involved in GOP politics.

To be a plant we'd have to know that someone in the GOP had her go on the show purposely posing as having no connection to the GOP for a reason.

Her own website proves her connection to the GOP.

Reading Comprehension is difficult for some posters. So is internal consistency in their own thoughts.

God I know facts seem to be really really dirty to you but try to use them.

"Is" implies current, on going, present tense.

Your link shows "was", no longer occuring, past tense, ceased to be.

Tense is important when you're not looking like you're attempting to be dishonest.

To be a plant we'd have to know that someone in the GOP had her go on the show purposely posing as having no connection to the GOP for a reason.

Indeed. I'm still waiting for evidence of that since you stated you proved

"She was a plant."

or for you to admit you were wrong in saying that.

Her own website proves her connection to the GOP.

Yes, all the evidence shows its a past connection, which goes against your present tense use above.

Re: Woman Who Said She Was ‘Just A Mom’ At Town Hall Meeting Is Exposed As A Republic

Have I ever mentioned how sometimes being a liberal can be frustrating? This whole thing is not even worth much debate. This woman has already gotten a bunch more publicity than she needs. Who cares really if she is a republican or not now or ever?
