Alright alright, I'll bite, what's your favorite?

(mind you, Jack's not my favorite, but just screams the definitive American whisky to me)

Favorite? Hmm.....depending my mood, Glen Ord, with Glenlivet and Glen Fiddich running close behind. For those adventurous moments, Loch Dhu (the "black whisky") is quite enjoyable. In the winter I tend to be partial to Talisker.

Keep in mind that "whisky" comes from the Scots Gaelic uisge beatha, which translates as "water of life." If it isn't from Scotland, it just isn't whisky.

    Pfft

    real American beer

In fact, anything from Odells is better. Their IPA is just one of the best IPAs out there. Colorado microbrew blows everything else out of the water.
