Just goes to show you that some Congressman just don't have any balls. I mean, after all, you would think that, if they truly believed the stuff they were saying in the halls of Congress about Obama being an illegal alien, they would answer reporters' questions instead of running from them. That is pretty cowardly of them. A good analogy here already exists in the real world. If you call people names, you then stand toe to toe with them, and back up what you say. Imagine if France had dared Germany to invade them, then ran and hid, and even surrendered when the Germans began to.......

Oops, the French did that. Sorry, bad example. On the other hand, maybe some of our illustrious GOP Congressmen need to get themselves a little French citizenship, so that they actually have it, instead of just looking like they have it.

Yes it is the People's responsibility to stand up to the lies and tell their wacko constituants that these flaming rumors are lies.

They dont mind rubbing elbows with liars and racists and it is apparent that they are unwilling to stand up in public and admit that these birther rants are nothing but hatemongers wanting a reason to claim President Obama is Kenyan....living while black.

Republican congressmen and woman not having the guts to admit this on camera just tells me they are afraid of losing their base...wackos.

Rubbing elbows with racists.....It went on at their teaparties..it's still going on today.

That is just the type of constituant the spinless congress people are afraid of losing.

By not having the gut to speak out publicly against this hatemonger crap they are more or less stating the intentions of the Republican party. The party of hatefilled bigotry. The party that represents itself and it's mentallity alone. Gutless spineless...Republicans...has nothing to do with being a true partiotic American....just gutless.

Alone and on the sidelines is where they are and deserve to be.

When they want to say something of substance...the Dems might allow it to happen.

It hasn't happened yet.

This birth certificate thing has taken on a life of it's own. It's going to be around a very long time just like all those kooky leftist conspiracy theories about Bush.

Entertaining though.

Reference please?

The only reference you need is this thread...which the OP points out the Republican congress people do not have the guts to publicly acknowlege the Presidents citizenship and in doing so openly support the rants of the much needed WHACKO base.

Who desperately need to accuse the President of "Being alive while black".

I suggest they promptly pull their heads out of their rearends. Unless they don't mind looking like fools.

like what?

Why would anyone consider this picture to be racist? I find that when the Granola Liberals take a picture of someone in a costume clearly depicting their
Heritage of which they are obviously proud as racist, it is belittling to the person in the picture and demeaning to every member of their tribe. Therefore an apology to the person in the picture and the one who proudly showed it around is in order.

I personally am not all that in favor of the whole feather thing, but hey, to each his own.

As far as the claim that they were running from the question goes. That is absurd in the extreme they simply were trying to avoid breathing the same air as a clearly sick Liberal reporter. After all the warnings of the dangers of H1N1 are all over the news. On top of that it is a widely held belief that Liberalism is a mental disorder and they have an unreasonable fear of catching it rendering them into a constant state of dumb assitis, which we all know is sadly not fatal but renders is suffers into a constant state of having delusions of adequacy.

Thank you for the initial post which made all this possible. I feel really good that I was able to clear up this matter in as much it may have been vexing for the large number of those who suffer so tragically from this nonfatal but
painfully debilitating social affliction widely known as dumb assitis or (Liberalism).

Bush did teh 9/11 and the titanic and doesn't afraid of anything lolz.

Very mature response. So you claim the movement of people who believe Bush was responsible for 9/11 is comparable to the birther movement? Is that all you got?

By the way, what time machine did the Magical Obama use to plant this notice in the Honolulu shopping news?

Yeah, not to mention that 9/11 crazies are not necessarily liberals. Many of them are wacked out libertarians and anarchists.

I know very few liberals ever advocated any 9/11 conspiracy. Well unless you accept that Bush and co. were incompetent morons that refused to listen to their counter terrorism chief and ignored the NSC briefing in August telling them EXACTLY what was going to happen..No, we do not believe a conspiracy, just utter incompetence.

Councilman, that is racist, and sorry you are too blind to see it. But I would gather that this would not bother you in the least.

Strangely enough, on Monday, the House passed unanimously a resolution which read, in part, "Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961." You know, "unanimously," as in, no Republicans disagreed.

Very mature response.

I don't think you should be lecturing anyone on "maturity."

So you claim the movement of people who believe Bush was responsible for 9/11 is comparable to the birther movement? Is that all you got?

You're right; they're not comparable. The 9/11 Truthers are much more widespread, much better-funded, much louder, and much more detailed in their pathetic blatherings.

What's actually comparable, of course, is all the crap about how the elections of 2000 and 2004 were "stolen."

Oh, and have you seen, I dunno, "Fahrenheit 9/11?"

I know very few liberals ever advocated any 9/11 conspiracy.

They lined up in droves to see that Michael Moore absurdity.

Which doesn't mean anything. What was the vote count? Many could have just not voted.

The birth certificate thing isn't going away, because the Liberals aren't going to let it.

Meaning 20 republicans didn't vote.

Office of the Clerk

Not exactly the picture painted eh?

Not sure what you're getting at, unless you are just being hyperpartisan. All that were present voted yea.

35 Democrats also didn't vote.

Would you have been happier if they had voted "present" like Obama did throughout his short career??
