Which doesn't mean anything. What was the vote count? Many could have just not voted.

The birth certificate thing isn't going away, because the Liberals aren't going to let it.

One hundred and fifty eight Republicans voted for the resolution, which states that “the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii.”

Not sure what you're getting at, unless you are just being hyperpartisan. All that were present voted yea.

    35 Democrats also didn't vote.

Would you have been happier if they had voted "present" like Obama did throughout his short career??

Harshaw argued that the Republicans presented a unified front against the conspiracy. That ain't the case.

    Indeed they didn't.

I would have preferred this bill not to have been voted on at all. It's a sign of just how sad our Congress has become. Congress has far more important things to do, especially before a month long recess. They waste time doing this crap.

I see. Simply because all of the Republicans were not there to vote, they were not united against the conspiracy.

I guess that also means the Democrats are not united against it.

I couldn't agree more that this was a colossal waste of time. On the other hand, it kept them out of other mischief for a few hours.

There are still a lot of liberals who don't understand we're reading their talking points at the same time they get'em.. If you can't come up with own make something up.

The term hyperpartisan makes me puke in my mouth.. sick of it.. understanding the Constitution and demanding adherence does not make you hyperpartisan..
...Applied to people who support policies which trample the Founding Docs would probably be accurate though.

SEE it even makes spellcheck puke in it's mouth!

Whoop-tee-do....... that vote and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee.

I suppose that if congress, in it's infinite wisdom, decides to vote yes, unanimously, that Pi = 3, we can then start using that figure in all of our future engineering?
