Pelosi-Hoyer tension on health care vote?

Pelosi-Hoyer tension on health care vote? UPDATED - Glenn Thrush - POLITICO.com

Hoyer raised eyebrows earlier this week by saying punting the vote through the August recess wouldn't be the worst thing. Pelosi responded by saying she hoped to hold the vote before next week's recess -- and predicted she would have the votes.

The speaker's statements apparently haven't weakened Hoyer's resolve to delay the vote.
More cracks in the Anti-Republican ranks? Is healthcare the rock that breaks them all? (One can only hope).

There happens to be an update:

    Glenn Thrush -

"There's been no tension of any kind," he told me a short time ago in the Capitol. "With all due respect, we say things a little different sometimes -- maybe one says things more carefully that the other... The Speaker and I both have reasonably strong personalities... But you'll see the Speaker and I invariably come to the same place and agree and move forward as a team… I think the speaker is one of the most prioncipled and pragmatic people I know -- she's what I like to call 'operational' -- she knows how to get things done."
It's time for a revolution in our country. Not a revolution forged with guns and bombs but a revolution forged of compassion and altruism. A revolution that extends a hand to those who don't have and who cannot. A revolution that makes Health Care available to all those in the US.

    The full update:
[UPDATE: Hoyer says there's "no tension" between himself and the Speaker, just that leadership is groping towards a good solution.

In other words, there's "no tension", just Hoyer and Queen Nancy at odds with each other. It just looks like tension, and only sounds like disagreement.

Dang Roadie ruining a good story.

It is more than apparent where the true tensions lie.

Within what is left of the crumbled Republican ranks.

At least they have all agreed to disagree again....they can go home now.

That sounds like wishful thinking. I believe when the smoke clears over the health care debate the Democrats will get the necessary votes.

HAHA. So now a disagreement and dialogue now is some catastrophic huge fissure in the Dem's relationships. Oh give me a break.

Oh, I don't deny that it is a wish....a fervent wish on my part.

Just that there are more and more reports of disputes among the Anti-Republicans over HR3200--if it's such an obvious mandate, why all the controversy?

Didn't say it was a "huge fissure" (yet). Am hoping it's a crack that becomes a huge fissure. Nothing would be more entertaining than Queen Nancy and her number 2 Hoyer in a knock-down dragout over the demise of Dear Leader's Administration.

Yea, I'm reading the same reports. While it makes sensational headlines, I feel the media is hyping up the differences between the Democrats more than what is actually the case. For the moment it seems the Blue Dogs are the holdouts, yet their voting records show they tend to follow party line votes on most issues. With health care being a defining issue for their party I feel they will come around when they dangle the right carrott in front of them.
