It's a form of vote rigging, Republican States did this to limit the amount of minorities that could vote, clearly, to help Republicans win and not to do with making the process more secure:

I've personally told you before that the issue isn't being "too stupid." I've explained reasons why people might not have an ID on the official list.

And yet you continue to repeat your racist lie, you still think the only reason black people might have a lower percentage of meeting the ID requirements is that they're too stupid.

The fact is that a lower percentage of black people have an ID on the allowed list.

Now, I can come up with reasons other than being stupid. I've even told you those reasons before.

But you ignore the rest of the things done to ensure minorities and the poor which generally vote democrat couldn't vote, fewer polling places, trying to limit the amount of early voting days, closing offices where you could get said ID to satisfy requirements.

I am not opposed to voter ID in and of itself, I had to have it to vote in the Canadian Federal Election and it didn't bother me one bit :shrug:

But you ignore these things, because anytyhing that negatively affects black folks seems to always be A-OK with you.

I've given you the reasons before. Are you saying you don't remember?

Ok, here's one of several: the list of allowable IDs is not all-encompassing. A poor person without a car may not have a driver's license, but does have an ID related to various social safety nets. So, poor people are disproportionately likely to not have the required ID.
