We Tracked Down A Fake-News Creator In The Suburbs. Here's What We Learned

He is probably the most well known, but surely there are others well known by the insiders.

I missed the literally part, but Trump seems to be supporting the Alt-Right quite well through the campaign and subsequent appointments.

Yes, he does, and they seem to like him a lot.

Yes, he does, and they seem to like him a lot.

Yup. I remember the backlash from BHO and Rev Wright, and this is many times worse.

Hypocrisy at it's finest.

I admittedly didn't read the OP, but I assume the fake news site creator they tracked down was the NYTimes - who is making **** up to push a theory?

Reince Priebus: 'RNC Was Not Hacked' - ABC News

The New York Times reported that intelligence agencies have concluded with “high confidence” that Russians hacked into both the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee’s internal communications but released only information they obtained from the Democratic committee in an effort to undermine the legitimacy of the Clinton campaign and the presidential election as a whole.

"We contacted the FBI months ago when the [alleged hacking of the Democratic National Committee] issue came about. They reviewed all of our systems. We have hacking-detection systems in place, and the conclusion was then, as it was again two days ago when we went back to the FBI to ask them about this, that the RNC was not hacked," Priebus said today on ABC News' "This Week."

Fake news pretends to be real news --- none of these shows are assuming the role of news anchor and news program. They're parodies.

Satire and parody has a influential purpose. And it works on liberals.

I know lots of liberals who neither admire Che Guevara nor smoke weed.

Sigh

Do you have any idea what the hell is going on here? Or were you just replying to read what you write?

A poster accused republicans of not being patriotic. My statement was...in effect...that that was an amusing statement as it is NORMALLY a line reserved by the right.

And then we delved into this weird sidetrack where allegedly I accused the left of not being patriotic, and where I have had to point out that I never said that. My statement was that "McCarthyism" is to the right...as antiestablishmentism is to the left. Hence Che Guevara.

**** me.

If fake news doesnt work on liberals, why is Daily Show, SNL, and late night talk shows so popular? They are literally fake news.

That's comedy, and those shows actually will parody both sides, although I will admit they lean liberal.

Funny you accuse every one who "leans right" of having ideological blinders while, at the very same time, displaying your own.

liberal hypocrisy is the biggest blinder in the world. they can't see the forest for the tree's.

The guy's making $10,000 to $30,000 a month creating fake right wing news and zero off fake news geared at liberals. The proof is in the pudding.

right because mediamatter, dailykos, huffpo, democratunderground, salon, motherjones
are all legit new sites that have outstanding reputations of being truthful and honest in their reporting.

lmao. they make 0 money off liberals.

you just disproved your own argument.
msnbc makes 0 money off all the liberals they pander to everyday.

you were talking about blinders again?

I don't believe things that I read without taking a step back and doing a bit of digging regardless of how it initially makes me feel. And as the interview states, fake news isn't successful when created for left wingers.

That is one reason right wing radio and CT are often right wing. Right wing brains are wired differently and do not put any complex analysis into what they are fed and it is very easy to rally them with emotion even if not logical.

Much of Trump's campaign was "some said ...

or The Wall ... which is essentially built with fences already. He just labeled it.

We Tracked Down A Fake-News Creator In The Suburbs. Here's What We Learned : All Tech Considered : NPR He's correct, People who lean right wing, see the world through ideological blinders and tend to feed off of raw emotion and run with any headline that seems to fit their preconceived notions. Bingo.

Raw emotion?

Ideological blinders?

Preconceived notions?

That could be the 99 percenters, BLM, the media, the election marshmallows, and 1/2 the liberals on this forum
