No one is safe from the matriarchy. This woman recorded herself saying "bye Donald Trump supporter," to a boy who was not yet old enough to vote.

Keep in mind, local law enforcement has determined that this video was "just a joke" and that the child is "safe."
As a parent, I find the video appalling. As your Sheriff, I have ensured the child is safe.

This is exactly the type of behavior we can expect from feminists and SJW's if Donald Trump indeed becomes president. They will stop at nothing to inflict emotional distress on the most vulnerable kinds of people of our society, in the quest to promote their twisted idea of justice.

Why did this woman target her male child? Because she believes that men traditionally hold power in society. The mother in the video is retaliating against her son who has done nothing other than express his support for the President elect of the United states. She did this because she feels secure and likely justified in scarring her children so that they will grow up to feel unempowered as men, and be subservient to abusive women in positions of power. In other words, it's ok to threaten her son with homelessness because he needs to learn to respect women by not supporting a candidate for public office.

Of course, this is just one episode. There is no statistic accompanying this post which says that mothers, or women in general are lashing out at young, male family members following the 2016 presidential election.

I don't agree with any of the racist, sexist rhetoric that has come out of the side of Trump supporters. This video goes to show that Trump protesters are not above being punative and/or abusive of children who support Donald Trump. So which is worse? I know for sure that both discrimination and punishing someone for their freedom of expression are wrong.

This might be an isolated incident but it is still borderline child abuse.

Not a surprise, and it is not difficult to find bat **** crazy.

The problem I have with this type of borderline abuse is that it falls squarely within what is acceptable as "discipline," both according to commonly accepted social behavior and the law. There is nothing illegal about what the mother did or said, but it is not hard to see that she was scarring her son for her own amusement.

On the flip side, there is nothing law enforcement can do about this which would be ethical, so it's likely that the abuse will continue. That poor kid is just going to have to endure a rough childhood. Unfortunately, because of his race, he is not likely to enjoy favorable treatment under a Trump administration.

I am being critical of this type of behavior not because of wrongdoing which led to the homelessness of a schoolchild, but because of the acceptance by society of women who exhibit this type of abusive behavior. It's possible that the abuse is modeled when she interacts with male role models in a verbally abusive way, or that he simply has no male role model to protect him from his mother's disgusting behavior.

This passed the border very quickly, and was nothing but child abuse. IMHO, as a guy that grew up being abused.

But what would you do with the kid, put him in foster care because his mother swore and ostensibly put a minor at risk of homelessness?

I just don't know if the costs outweigh the benefits. I never went through foster care, though I've heard it's horrible. The kind of quandary which takes him out of the frying pan and puts him in a fire.

The worst about that video is that there's video of it. Seriously, this monster of a mother stood there the entire time holding up her phone to record the screams and terror of the kid she was abusing.

Each case is different. I can't imagine that foster care would have been any worse than what I dealt with, but I can't speak for this kid. I just know that what we saw in the video is abuse.

Taking a kid away from their parents should be the final option. Training the parents, getting them counseling, assigning the parent a form of a probation officer... hell I don't know, anything that may work, but I'm not a psychologist so I can't say. All I know is how it feels to be in that kids shoes, and I just hope he doesn't end up in the hospital as often as I did. Don't forget, the mental anguish of having your mother talk to you that way is as bad, IMHO, as having your arm broken and your whole body bruised from a beating -- which I have had both, so I can talk from experience.

Of course if the kid grows up to be a convicted felon, it won't matter which candidate he supports.
