President Trump: How and Why?

You, Sir, are a racist, and worse, a racist in full and open denial. My time spent with you is over. Nothing you can or will say has significance to me. When I see your avatar, I will simply keep on moving. I will never be able to regain the time I have wasted on you.

LOL, OK. :peace

Right, didn't claim I did. In fact said I don't care what Ari thinks about anything,
I see you still don't get it.
You didn't watch it yet dismissed it without cause. That is a very stupid position to take.
Thank you for admitting that is what you did.

and I still don't after watching the video.
Of course you do not care. That is in line with your other absurd beliefs.

So I don't have to repeat myself, but suit yourself. I don't care what you do.
iLOL
Nonsensical irrelevance.

You'll have to explain the difference. Was there something in that video that represents the "TRUTH" and against which there is no argument?
iLOL 1. No. The video was provided to TurtleDude in reference to what he said in reply to you.
2. No. The video is self explanatory. Some issues are not the problem they are falsely made out to be.

Are you suggesting that Trump supporters in general are NOT white nationalists like David Duke? David Duke is a big supporter, I can find video of him (and others in my area with a day of filming) espousing white nationalist views. Ergo, "Trump supporters" believe what David Duke believes. Q.E.D.
Q.E.D? Not.
Your reply is straw and is irrelevant.

Well, yes, it's easy to make up someone's position, then prove the made up position is absurd.
iLOL
These liberals spoke of their beliefs. Not made up positions.

Tell you what - read a few of the court cases, including at the appeals court level. The "supposed barriers" are not supposed, .
Yes they are supposed.

I did watch it, and commented on it, which you apparently ignored. I'll pass commenting on the rest of your response if you can't get that much right.

Wrong again.
You didn't watch it until you got called on it.

I'll pass commenting on the rest of your response if you can't get that much right.
This is a result of your not paying attention or dishonesty.

What surprise? What irony? Hillary lost because she represented what was bothering America's core. She simply took for granted the blue states that went Rep and ditto for Bernie supporters. Hillary has only herself to blame. Had she taken a different approach the outcome would have been different. But she obviously was too much in bed with the political and corporate elites. One of the clinchers was when she uttered the word "deplorables." That clinched it right there. And her hubris.

Trump's victory was voters more against not wanting Hillary. Keep in mind that 58% of the public are concerned about Trump. That is not good news for him.

I found it insulting when Obama told African Americans he will take it personally if Hillary loses.

Wow.. I am about 180 degrees diverged from this guy's politics, but I think his wake-up call to the left is spot on.

(Harsh Language)

Though maybe there is some irony in his delivery. ;)

Well. That about says it all. I wonder if the left is listening? I doubt it.

He is a British comedian who does political satire. How heart felt and honest is rant is is anyone's guess. That said, IMHO he nailed it, satire or not.

I love Jonathan Pie; easily one of my favourite political satirists/commentators these days. He nails the election with his usual vitriolic precision; no man can better translate my thoughts into an incisive British rant laden with cutting and undeniable truth.

This is pretty much what the 'Sandernistas' as the Hillarites love to call us (when they're not busy resorting to the asinine condescension of 'Bernie Bros') have been saying since the election results were announced; this is precisely the outcome we warned them about, including much of the how and why, only to be routinely and summarily dismissed. In fact, many such pooh poohing inexplicable die hards populate this forum.

Playing the race card is far easier than debating issues based on merit, especially when so many embrace issues and beliefs that can't be justified based on merit.

.
I want to take this point and discuss it further.

I don't think it's that they cannot justify it on it's merits, it's that each side has a different value base. What a person on the right might view of cradle to grave the left leaning person might see as a rightful use of government resources. That chasm between the two is the problem, not so much how each side presents the issue. Neither side can find common ground because the shift in what a right is, what the purpose of government is, what responsibilities you the individual have are so different. I think it's irreparable at this point to be honest.

Love your signature. This election has been so distressing and downright sickening for me, not wanting either one to win but I must say that when Hillary lost I felt such a great sense of relief and weight lifted off of my shoulders. I feel positive about America now, even though I did not want Trump to win. By the way, I voted for Kasich in both the primaries and the general.
