Video: Obama Encourages Illegals to Vote: No Repercussions

Obama also thinks he has the constitutional authority to naturalize illegal aliens. Again, credibility.

A convenient thought process that lets you just make up whatever ridiculous thing you want to believe Obama really meant.

You're using an interpretation that makes no sense. There's no ulterior motive, no wild conspiracy theory, no deception Obama is trying to pull in which it would make sense for him to say what you think he's saying. "Voting turns you into a citizen!" I mean come on. Even if Obama were dumb enough to be on tape openly trying to encourage a crime, that's not a statement that makes a lick of sense.

What you've proven is that you're so partisan you'll keep pretending you believe something so monumentally stupid.

"Not true, and the reason is, first of all: when you vote, you are a citizen yourself. And there is not a situation where the voting rolls are somehow transferred over and people start investigating, etc. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential in terms of who you voted for. If you have a family member that is maybe undocumented, then you have an even greater reason to vote."

(Follow up question)

"The reason that fear is promoted is that they don't want people voting. People are discouraged from voting, and part of what is important for latino citizens (Deuce note, he strongly emphasizes the word citizen) is to make your voice heard because you're not just speaking for yourself, you're speaking for family members, friends, classmates of yours in school, who may not have a voice. Who can't legally vote."

Obama said that? Well he's full of ****.

Obama said that? Well he's full of ****.

Whether or not reduced latino voter turnout is a goal of the right is another discussion.

Clearly, Obama is talking about legal citizens voting, not encouraging illegal immigrants to vote by making an absurd claim that voting will turn them into citizens. Right? You're not like some of your conservative brethren who bought that interpretation? I know you're smarter than that.

Question: " Many of the millennials, Dreamers, undocumented citizens – and I call them citizens because they contribute to this country – are fearful of voting. So if I vote, will Immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us?"

Obama: “Not true, and the reason is, first of all, when you vote, you are a citizen yourself. And there is not a situation where the voting rolls somehow are transferred over and people start investigating, etc. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential"

Context is everything, boys. Did you notice how Deuce left out Obama's response?

The person doing the interview, Gina Rodriguez, is a citizen, born in Chicago, to citizen parents from Puerto Rico. Her question is "So if I (a citizen) vote..." and what Obama said is, "When you (a citizen) vote.... "

But you can believe what you want. I've done this enough times with you to know you'll just ignore my point, restate your assertion, and it can go on all day.

Why is she asking about being deported when she votes?

Look who's talking.

Why is she asking about being deported when she votes?

Why is Obama suggesting illegal immigrants can magically become citizens by voting?

Why is she asking about being deported when she votes?

Dunno, she's a citizen, as are/were her parents. You'll have to ask her I guess.

She wasn't speaking like a citizen. How do you explain that?

Because he's stupid?

Just keep diggin that hole, buddy. Man it's fun to watch.

Keep pretending you think this. Why you're doing it, I don't know. But it really is amusing to watch someone so ingrained in partisan hate that they have to keep up a pretense even this absurd.

Ok, so your next spin attempt: if he's so dumb that he thinks this, why did he say only a few sentences later that the illegal family members can't vote?

Not near as much as it is to watch you do the defend Obama dance.

She wasn't speaking like a citizen. How do you explain that?

I don't. :doh

Besides, she sounded like a citizen to me and is, in fact, a citizen, so your point is like usual a total mystery.

You dodged the question. Oh my, what a shock. Really. So surprised.

Why is a citizen worried about being tracked down after casting a vote?

Dunno. You can ask her if you want. She's on Twitter - @HereIsGina. Let us know what you find out!

Why is she asking about being deported when she votes?

I think that she has undocumented relatives at home and she's worried about being tracked by her vote.

What was asked is if you have undocumented family at home do you risk your families deportation if you as a citizen vote. Not fraud

Oh, so she's harboring criminals? She needs to be investigated, immediately.

Not sure who that would be - she's a citizen and her parents are/were from Puerto Rico, so presumably also citizens.

I was just making an assumption based on her comment.

edit: Of course she could have just been commenting in general.

Now he really, really wants to change the subject to her instead of Obama :lamo
